Ford Galaxie is a full sized muscle car born during the golden era of Americanautomotives. The name Galaxie was derived during the hype of the era known as the "space race" when the ideals of space exploration were at their peak
This model Galaxie came out in 1965 and was fine tuned for 1966
Galaxie 500 was the direct competitor to the Chevy Impala and were considered full size drag/muscle cars of their time
Big and Bold these classics owned the road and providing plenty of power, egroom and trunk space, omething you do not find in cars today
This particular vehicle is a special model, ot only a convertible but also was adorned with a "West Virginia Package" which essentially was a dealer option local to WestVirginia dealersat the time. This package included DualExhaust, pecial Hubcaps, tainless Steel Fender Skirts and a couple other different characteristics
Car has been cared for, ept inside a moisture freeenvironmentfor many years in a private collection preserving its originality and has been meticulously maintained throughout the years. Any TLC this car has needed it hasreceived over the years and is completely turn key
This is NOT a show car however a very well preserved driver quality vehicle which will allow for the owner to continue preserving it's originality while still being able to drive and enjoy the car unlike trailer queens which sit in museums not driven.
Paint is original and still shows very well for its age. Very minor flaws you have to get up real close to see any touchups from over the years however the overallshine and reflection of the paint is still very eye catching and shows very well (see photos)
Chrome is original and is in excellent shape for its age (see photos)
Interior has been completely redone in high grade vinyl and showsexcellent. Seats are very supple, lean and car show worthy (see photos)
Convertible top is in excellent shape, oes up and down as it should properly with no issues
Throughout the yearsvehiclehas undergone much routinemaintenancein order to preserve its quality
Very recently vehicle has undergone a full tune-up (belts, lugs, lushes etc), ew brakes, ew tires, ew interior, ew seat belts, ew battery
