Description

1969 Ford F100 Ranger long bed pick-up truck with Explorer package. Rare color. Very good to excellent overall condition with only 39,000 documented actual miles on truck. Truck was originally built with 360 engine, 28 police interceptor installed later. Factory C-6 automatic transmission, ower steering, ower drum brakes, ir conditioning and AM/FM radio.Truly exceptional condition inside and out,' grandpa's' truck always draws attention whether parked, dling or leaving the rest far behind. All glass and weatherstripping is excellent, nterior looks nearly 'new'. New Firestone radials, ew Sanderson headers. Runs, ides, rives and stops great. Sounds awesome with Flowmasters and dual exhaust. Original spare still under truck. Both headlights appear to be original and they both work also. Clear North Carolina title.Air conditioning compressor is currently not on truck, ut it is included and can be readily reinstalled. A/C system still had gas when removed, ompressor spins free. Engine was removed to verify that it is a 428 and to clean it up. No major work was done other than disassembly and replacement of seals, askets and timing chain. Freeze plugs were removed and water jackets flushed. I have photos showing 'C' scratch on back of block (there is also a partial VIN # on driver's side), 28 inside water jacket, UB on crankshaft and date code on block, ut I have not been able to load them to this posting. Alternator and starter were rebuilt and NOS 'Arrow" rebuilt water pump installed.
Truck is available for inspection in Catawba, C prior to end of auction.
