I purchased this vehicle last December (12/2014). Originally, was planning to move into a house with a garage. This car was going to be a hobby, ot a daily driver. The plans fell through, nd I've stayed in an apartment, ith curb side parking only. I don't drive this car much and have decided that I need to sell it. I just really love this car and hate to part with it, ut I'm just not in a position to work on it. I took this car to the shop and wound up having a lot of work done to it (new starter; valve cover gasket; oil change; transmission filter replace; camshaft replaced; timing belt replaced; hoses replaced; alternator belt replaced; shift lever seal replaced; transmission pan filter replaced; coolant flush; transmission fluid change: ect.). Ihave had difficulty shifting into second(I'm no mechanic, ut it took longer than normal to shift over into second, hile driving). The last few times it was a lot better and I believe it might have had something to do with the fluid change (shifted perfect prior). Prior to my ownership the car had new brakes and tires placed on it (both in very good shape). They also had the carb rebuilt. It starts up and runs very good, he idle is decent. The mechanics of this car areexcellentbased on its age. Although, t does still needa bunchof interior work, don't see it costing to much (thedash cap, arpet, nd head liner can be bought off of eBay), ore than anything it needs tlc, nd someone who enjoys this kind of thing. Hopefully there is someone out there, n a better position for this type of hobby. This is aperfectstarter car for someone interested in auto restoration. I will include amanual, he auto shop invoices that run back to theoriginalpurchase (had 3 owners before me, ith the original owner owning it up to 2008). I've been starting it once a week and driving it up and down the curb, o keep it in running order. I just don't have the time or place to work on it. Pintos are getting hard to find and I feel this is a primespecimen. Let me know if you have any questions, nd thank you for looking. I will consider any "reasonable" offer.-bmf
p.s.It could be used as a daily drive without any of the interior work done.
