Market Values are Subjective
I've only seen one other that was less equipped on the market that sold at $39,990.00
If you can't find it, sk me and I'll show you where to see it.
It's never about what I'm asking, t's only about what you are willing to offer.
If you want to make a deal, pick up the phone and talk your serious offer. 702-353-7500Before you send me that awful question, what's your reserve or bottom line", et's take a moment to explain market values and how to get a deal on eBay. There isn't any "Book Value" from the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide on a car like this. Figures both selling and buying for cars like this are subjective in nature and the only number that counts, f you are the seller, s the one from a serious buyer that makes you an offer. Over 28 years in thebusiness, ealers like myself, uy and sell by looking at what it must have taken to build a car like this and take a rough guess as to what someone might buy it for. Do I have an asking price, ure if you want to hear me shoot at the moon, ut that number will have nothing to do with what you may offer whether that's higher or lower. That is why we sell exclusively on eBay and at other reputable auctions. The numbers or offers come from the buyers that are serious and just like me, ake their own minds up as to what they are willing to spend. We arehere to sell cars. With thirteen yearsexclusivelyon eBay and perfect feedback, t's obvious we do.
How? Well, hat's easy too. Real buyers with serious offers in mind call us. They almost always want to talk to the person in charge; that's me. I want to talk to you too and help you own this awesome vehicle. It keeps me in business. So, f you want a fantastic vehicle like you see here, ne that is far above the average in condition, erviced and documented like this, simply call. Asking through email for my bottom line? Well, I just think you're not too serious or willing to make an offer; makes it a waste of my time and yours. If you just want to know what the market value is, o what we do, ook atKelly Blue Book andNADA Guideand other online sources. Does that mean we always hope to get exactly book value, above or below? That's a loaded question. Depends on the rarity, iles andcondition. Most important though, ince you "are" a serious and capable buyer, all me and let's talk. I don't wear a Plaid Coat, don't talk really fast and I am the guy in charge, he owner, nthusiast and purveyor of some of the finest cars on the internet...not to mention the best thorough presentations.
Let's make a deal...Call me
Doug

There are times that I just consider myself so lucky to be in this business. A local repair shop called me a couple months ago and told me that one of his clients was planning on selling his grandfather's 1960 Ford F250 Custom Cab Styleside 4x4. He told me that his client had nearly completed a full restoration and he was just finishing up his mechanical restorations for him. He also informed me that his client was moving and downsizing and didn't know what to do with the truck but wanted it to go to a collector that would finish the few things left to do. That collector and enthusiast was me. It took seconds to see the quality restoration up to the point he had gotten. Paint finish was show quality and what became even more apparent was the original condition of the sheet metal on this truck. Nothing less than stunning. Little things like the factory original weld points of the inner walls showing through to the exterior finish on the bed. Literally perfect. Not over finished or mudded over to make the truck look over restored. Every where I looked I got excited about the overall finish and retention of originality. What wasn't finished? The engine bay, he steering wheel and the bench seat was covered in a gray velour; obviously not how it came. Funny thing was, had no idea how it came until the owner and I got together and he began to show me pictures of the truck and tell me about his grandfather that bought it brand new right here in Las Vegas.
Our conversation was very exciting to me. In reality, his truck was a one owner, ingle family ownership since new. Grampa bought it in December of 1959 at Gaudin Ford (a Ford dealership still here in Las Vegas. I even worked for them 20 years ago) Right off the bat, ictures of the truck were taken and memories collected with the family, he truck was a family member. Gramps used it at his small gold mine just south of Boulder City, evada and the truck made trips on occasion as far as California. The grandson who I bought it from, remembered years gone past where riding in the back was the mode of transportation while Grandpa and Grandma road up front in the ice cold air conditioned cab. This was about as rare as it gets in most 1960 trucks, especially F250s with the factory four wheel drive and a four inch factory lift. This truck never left it's homestead of Boulder City other than a few trips out of town. If you know the general area, e get about 3 inches of rain per year, o even more rare might be the picture posted below showing the truck sitting in the high desert snow, he picture taken probably because the owner had just bought the truck a month before and was probably grateful he opted for the four wheel drive. Owning a producing gold mine, he owner didn't buy a stripped down work truck, t was a fancy Custom Cab with all the trimmings. I'd dare to say, his might be the only 1960 Ford F250 Custom Cab Styleside 4x4 in existence with factory Air Conditioning. Please feel free to prove me wrong, hen I'll have you show me one that is as impeccably restored as this one is and a one owner. Let talk about the restoration next.
Highly optioned as you will see, ne family local ownership since new and passed down to the grandson who now is maybe in his 60s, his truck was not going to escape the love of it's owners. As an appraiser for years, do know what I am looking at. Over restored vehicles abound nowadays. "Restored" vehicles that are NOTHING more that refurbished pigs in lipstick abound even more. An original, ever wrecked or heavily dinged or dented work truck from this era, riceless...no...but near impossible to find...yes. The truck was media blasted and it's original finish laid over a nearly perfect body that never saw rust, ents or new panels. This is what you get, truck that pings like solid metal everywhere you touch a magnet, ines that are factory perfect, it and finish that is not overly perfected since this truck didn't come that way from the factory back in 1960. Is it as beautiful as the day Grampa bought it? Well topside you'd think so everywhere you look and we finished off where our seller left off. The engine bay under-hood was as it was after 55 years, he engine was repainted last year when it was removed and completely rebuilt, ut the rest needed to match the rest of the truck. Professional engine bay refinishing ensued. Then there was the bench seat. I knew gray velour was NOT the original material. The owner showed me a picture from 1960 where his grandfather was loading mining equipment in the bed and I could clearly see the interior. A few calls to vintage upholstery suppliers and I was able to locate the original material...at a price that was insane. Ask me if I cared, ope. This truck had to have it like it was when new. Done. Then there was the steering wheel with its cracks and its fake leather cover tied into place. It was like a black eye on the interior now. That is not going to stay like that. So again, professional restoration had to take place.
The "FORD" letters on the tail gate had not been painted white so we did that professionally, the emblems had been rechromed but the red paint left to be completed professionally and with the white "Ford" letters painted on the valve covers this truck was about to see it's completion. Next, p in the air on our lifts. Let me tell you a bit about that process. It was clearly obvious, hat all mechanical and drivability issues were fully restored. New bushings and seals and everything in between. What was not restored was the frame, r the body underbelly. I think I looked at it for days and finally made the decision to refinish the frame to a near factory finish but the floors, he floors were just beautiful to me in their original state. You could see the original paint still. where the rocks from the innumerous dirt roads had sandblasted most of it off and what was left was the original metal patina. Some might at first sight call it rust, ut rest assured, here is not a spec of carnivorous rust on this truck. When bare metal is exposed, t will patina to a brown state, ut what you see under there is not rusty. Now, f this truck sells to some place that does have tendencies to rust. let us know and for a fair fee, we'll refinish it to further protect it. But as for my judgment. the under-floors are absolutely beautiful and tell their own story of just how well this truck was cared for. Nothing hidden for sure. That is how I like to buy and you'll have the same opportunity to see this rare beauty.
There is over 170 pictures in this presentation. I do that for a reason. So you will see up close an personal every inch of this great rare find. No where else will you see such a presentation, or will you have so much disclosure to encourage your confidence, ot counting my feedback. Most importantly, you will see the quality of this truck, he extreme measures that the previous owner took to restore this beauty at every level then the completion of that same spirit with our commitment to seeing this truck have its day in the lime light again. Go ahead, sk the question, What does it need? A spare tire mounted underneath with the tire carrier we have. I just couldn't find a wheel that was date code correct and I didn't want to wait any longer to see the excitement this truck will garner. Oh yes, he dog dish rear hubcaps. We have one of the originals (pictured) that is not worth restoring and I am sure if you're patient, wo will show up online. At least you'll know what to look for...I did and after two months, he truck can sell without the two hub caps. The 4x4 didn't come with fronts. There is an AM radio in this truck too that turns on and lights up, ut no sound. With Bluetooth and phones these days, wouldn't bother either, ut that is up to you. There are radio restoration shops out there if you just have to have it done. The driver's roll up window is original too. It's cracked down in the corner and I could have replaced it for less than $200, ut for me, he original "Ford" bug in the window is way too cool. It stays in my opinion. Is this truck flawless? Ha, ell me another story of a restored vehicle that is flawless and I'll smack you down. They don't exist. But I will say, am extremely confident that THIS truck in it configuration and options, s probably the finest example in the world and comes with a story to boot. If you are a collector, ou know what I mean.
If you call me and ask if you could drive this truck cross country and make it home, will confidently say "you're out of your mind" but it would make it. This is a low geared four wheel drive that probably never saw the 75 mile an hour marker. Geese, ust ship it. Rent a BMW if you want a road trip. This truck deserves to show up looking just like it does now without 3000 miles of bug guts and road debris. It's not that expensive and I'll help you coordinate the shipping if you want. But again, ully road ready without a glitch.
Does it sound like I like this truck? Yeah I know. I do. About as much as I love it pictured with a country girl next to it. I am sorry if there are those that get offended by my presentations with my models, ut I am also a photographer that has models that call me all the time wanting pictures with my cars. I live my passion, have fun doing it. my kids work with me in our business, y wife occasionally models too and we all have a lot of fun. For the guys trying to explain to their wives that they are looking at the truck "for realz", ust read them this paragraph and tell them that it's my fault for liking models presenting our classic cars. There's 170 pictures in this presentation and only 5 with the model. Cut him a break. Now if you're a girl looking at this ad and wish some hot guy with a cowboy hat and his shirt off was pictured, y sincerest apologies go out to you. Most guys look like me with a bit of a belly and as good looking as I am, just don't cut it for pictures...yet. Maybe someday
Yes, ebekah loves her trucks and this one was worth kissing. Spectacular everywhere you look...that emblem depth is seriously beautiful. Scroll down guys. You'll be this happy if you get to own this sweetheart truck.

Less than 500 miles since completely rebuilt
Refinished undercarriage in a factory correct matte finish. Do you know what it takes to get a factory correct interior? I do and it was worth every penny. Don't you think so too?
Yes, perfectly restored steering wheel with epoxy resin filled cracks, automotive paint finish and cleared to perfection. Price that out too; taint cheap.
All your gauges work too.
Factory air conditioning that blows ice cold. Gold miners in Nevada back in 1960 drove their trucks with delight. The kids sat in the bed back then and roasted. The grand kid of the original owner had words about that deal, ut he still lovingly restored this truck with all the memories it included.
Yep, new tank too.
She really doesn't know what she's looking at other than it was an engine, ut she looks good looking at it.
Show me an undercarriage the is nearly as untouched as this that looks this good. Sure, have seen them fully restored, prayed with ten gallons of undercoat and blacked out, ut this is worth seeing. There are close up picture below so keep scrolling down to see the real beauty of this side of the truck.
Driving home from the dealership just after buying the truck. See the interior in the picture below. Yep that's what it looks like now. Not sure about this picture but no doubt, beer, he truck and two women were involved. No disrespect, this granpa was obviously having a great day. The gold mine The hub cap that's staying on my wall. The parts the Grandson thought went with the truck. A note from the owner. I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I’ve been in business, ave come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, igh value vehicles. I specialize in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. I have an experienced eye for quality but I’ve discovered that my preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, uilt my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, he bidder, hat this is an above average, exceptionalvehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, t probably won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of business. With just four employees and no sales people, realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, n unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner and Chris, wner ofA-Best Auto Repairin Henderson, evada has my back. He and his crew can fixanything; from a low budget beater to the absolute most expensive exotic you can name, o job is too big and no small detail unimportant. They do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, ut a happy customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it allows my writer to describe the car with ease and confidence, omething that simply is not possible unlesshethinks it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction. After the vehicle is fully sorted it arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious eye of Tom, y writer that creates the presentations you see on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else tells him about the car as he combs over every inch, researches its history and documents originality and authenticity. Historical significance, arity, pecial features, ossible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, nder the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, specially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives. Usually, ’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, e film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, orking sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, aser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many “dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? Wedo. No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, akes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, he buyer, ith so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, nable to touch or feel their purchase, hat my vehicle is for real and what I say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and Ineedglowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it. If you have any questions at all, lease call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer serious, ou’ll find me the most accommodating business partner you’ve ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the trigger, will happily quote you the absolute highest nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find – a number we both know will not buy the car so, on’t waste your time, r mine. I am after all, “used car dealer.” Serious buyers know the maximum they can offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that number. If you hit the reserve, he decision is no longer mine. Imustsell at that number.
