Description

1960 Ford F-100 Panel Truck 1960 Ford F-100 Panel Truck. This was my daily driver for a while but now it just doesn't get driven near so much. But still runs and drives great. Fires right up. Idles a little rough when cold but smooths out when warmed up. And it's a really fun ride.
Upgrades - started with a straight six but now sports a V-8 (I've been told it's a 289, 02, r 351) with a "cruise-o-matic" transmission (basically a clutchless straight-shift - three on the floor). Also uses a Mustang II dual reservoir master brake cylinder instead of the single. I replaced several of the brake lines as well as most of the rear brake system (new drums, hoes, prings, heel cylinders, tc). Has Mustang II bucket seats, orn but still nicer than the bench that it came with. Radiator was replaced recently as was the exhaust from the mainfold back.
Downsides - this truck originally came from NY and didn't escape rust - floor pans have rust as do the wheel wells (typical rust areas). There are few dents. Also the gas gauge doesn't work. Driver's side door glass is cracked. Passenger's side window roll down handle mechanism is chewed up (will roll down with vice grips). Currently only the back doors lock with a key from the outside. Because of the modified engine, couldn't figure out what radiator to put in it. A new radiator for a Bronco fit, ut I had to remove the mechanical fan. It's fine being air cooled while you're moving, ut will overheat if you're just sitting a long time. I have a new electric fan system for a Taurus to add to replace the mechanical one. And I have the old radiator, hich could be re-cored if the buyer wanted to it back in and use the mechanical fan.
Extras - I have a nice Custom Cab driver's door, hich allows the door to be locked from the outside (originally the concept was to lock from the inside and slide out the passenger door). That door has good glass and mechanisms, llowing the bad stuff to be replaced. I also have new door and ignition locks to add all around. Also the aforementioned electric radiator fan. Additionally a rust-and dent-free passenger side fender. Several other miscellaneous parts.
Clean TN title.
Please feel free to email me with any questions. More pictures available on request. When in doubt, lease ask me questions.
Thanks for looking.
Good luck and happy bidding!
Shipping Obviously I cannot mail this thing, ut I do have a car hauler that would allow me to carry this somewhere. I travel around the Midwest frequently, o I might be able to help with delivery. But please ask before bidding.
Payment Because there is no method of tracking for this to prove pick-up. payment is expected to be cash upon receipt of vehicle and title. Any other means would need to be negotiated beforehand.
This doesn't need to be picked up right away, ut contact me if you plan to not pick it up right away.
Feedback As a seller, ositive feedback is always appreciated. If you have any issues with an item, lease let me know before leaving feedback – I do my best to maintain a good reputation and feedback score.
Buyer feedback is left upon request. Since eBay’s policy change to only be able to leave positive feedback for buyers, fail to see the point of leaving buyer feedback. And I find it disheartening to have auctions won but never receive a response from the winner despite their feedback, which can only be positive. So I’d rather use the time more constructively and put my energy towards providing auction items. But if you want the feedback, ’m happy to leave it – just let me know!
