Description

We purchased this 1954 Ford Convertible that had been stored away for 17 years. We completely rebuilt everything on the car in 1989. Over the years we have driven this Sunliner from Florida to New York, ew Jersey, o Detroit, owa, ansas City, o and many other places. The 130 horsepower original 239 cubic engine needed some help. So we purchased the largest Y-block engine ever made by Ford. It is the 1957 model 312 cubic engine. We removed the original total re-manufactured 239 cubic engine that has only 130 horse power and replaced it with a 255 horsepower 312 cubic engine. We are not 71 years old and it's time to pass my wife's 54 Sunliner on to a younger couple that wants the best of the best in antique Fords. We are including the original 239 cubic inch engine that has only 3,000 miles on it, lus the original 6V head lights, riginalpush button radio and original exhaust manifolds plus a spare carburetor. We have a new speedometer cable and housing that needs to be installed. Also the new gas tank sender unit needs to be calibrated as the gauge always reads full. The power top goes up and down slowly. The pump may need somehydraulicfluid to be added. There is zero rust as it was totally restored in 1989 and kept in the garage since then.
