Description

This is a 1971 Ford Torino GT with a 351 Cleveland 2v. I have owned the car since 2002 and it is mostly original right down to the magnum 500 spare tire. I had it repainted in the original poppy red and added the laser stripe. As you can see by the photos it has sat for a while and needs rust work and paint. The car came with factory air and is still there but does not work. The convertible top was replaced and is still in great shape and all hydraulics work. It also has glass rear window. One thing I added was the Holley 500 cfm carburetor because the autolite carbs always had the hesitation issue that was inherent and I always considered them problematic. If you want it original you can find probably find one virtually anywhere. Also, he car came originally with hideaways which is a nice option. The grill is cracked but a good shop can fix that easily. The car has rust in multiple spots particularly in the cowl area so be aware that it needs body work. I'm looking for a buyer that has their heart set on a really good fixer upper. The frame is straight and it has never been wrecked. I am the third owner and I was planning on keeping it but I have other priorities currently and cannot fix it up.
