1939 Ford Tudor Deluxe

For sale 1939 Ford Tudor Deluxe sedan, 951 Flathead V-8 with Edmund’s finned aluminum heads, delbrock intake with dual Stromberg carburetors, hevrolet distributer W/pertronix ignition, are 15” Mercury wheels, 939 3 speed top loader transmission, 940 Ford hubs and drums, nd original Deluxe banjo steering wheel.

I got the car in Victorville, alifornia. I was told by the previous owner he bought the car from Jim Jacobs.

The car has had other engines in it before; I believe it had a SBC for awhile. It has split wishbones in the front (poorly done) and drives very well and goes down the road very straight and true. The brakes work well, he body is straight and very solid. The interior is rough, t has the original seats, ut the covers are very rotten. I have the interior garnish moldings and window regulators also.

It has a good windshield that cranks out as it should and new rear glass, ut there is no door or ¼ glass.

The car has nice newer dual exhaust that sounds great; the wheels are rare early Mercury steelies with older bias-ply wide whites.

There is no heat or AC in this car, he vacuum wipers are not hooked up, nd the stock gauges are not hooked up.

The paint is worn and sun faded from southern California, ut the car is SUPER SOLID, he floors and body are great; I have a set of stock running boards for it, nd 1 running board rubber cover.

The engine runs great and has a lot of power, have driven it on the freeway but I’ve never taken it over 65 MPH. I’ve driven to a couple of shows that were 120 miles round trip and it drove and preformed great. It does not smoke, verheat, r burn oil. Yes it leaks some oil, ut it is a 1939 Ford with a Flathead V-8 after all.

This car drives great for a 1939, t does not drive like a 2015 however.

I will need a $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 5 days of sale, nd then balance must be paid in full within 10 days of end of auction. If not paid within 10 days this car will be re-listed and deposit not returned. (I will work with you if there is a good excuse, ut I will not lower price). I will not charge storage on this car, f this car is paid for it can be stored at my house for awhile (1 or 2 months, ot a year) until shipping is arranged.

I will not arrange shipping for the car that is up to you the buyer but I will work with you and your shipper in any way I can.
