IS THIS A REAL ORIGINAL K CODE HIPO? Yes is was born from the factory that way, he title 5th digit says K, he VIN on the car 5th digit is K. This for sure makes it born with a 289 HiPo engine. No, he original engine is not in the car. It now has a 302 roller engine. They fit like a glove and look about the same. Some guys consider this a up grade because they run like a demon and are as tuff as nails. I do not have the original engine, t is long gone many years ago.

IS THIS A REAL GT CAR? It looks right to me! It has the emblems, he dual exhaust, he big master cylinder and disc brakes.

TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand with a VIN that matches the stamping on the car.

DOOR TAG: Long gone in year past before I got the car.

HISTORY: I bought the car from a middle aged man from the next town below me. He never drove the car and it just set around going down. He decided to sale and I got to it first. The car was restored before I bought it.

ENGINE: A very strong running 302 cubic inch roller engine, ome call them 5.0 engines like the Fox body Mustangs have. I hear no knocks or rattles and see no excessive blur smoke. The 302 fits in to replace a 289 almost perfect, he bigest thing is the radiator bottom hose comes out on the wrong side. A perfect fit radiator is available to correct this, his car has a new heavy duty correct replacement for the convertion. If you want it to look just like it was born with just change the water pump. The 5.0 roller means it has a roller valve train.

TRANSMISSION: It is up graded to a 5 speed Temic manual transmission. The 5th gear is a over-drive.

REAR-END: Its a 8 inch with positive traction, hen I checked the ratio the drive shaft turned about 3.73 times to 1 turn of the wheel. This means it has a ratio of 3.73 to 1. Thats a real good gear for power and not too low with the over drive transmission.

PAINT: Candy apple read paint. The body is very straight to look down the sides. No big dints, o rusty holes and the shine is good. Under a close eye inspection in the right light I can see a little texture on top of the trunk, good buffing might help, ut it really dosen't look bad and is hard to see. I see a few small touched up chips. I would condider the paint extra nice driver quality.

INTERIOR: Seat covers show no real wear, arpet a little fuzzy, oor panels good, ackage tray good, ood kick panels, ead liner extra nice and dash pad has no cracks or waves. Steering wheel has minor cracks, rim is paints nice, ut has more gloss then factory paint.

CHROME: Nice front bumper, reat rear bumper, ood embelems, tainless around the front and back window decent, few pits in the vent window chrome.

GLASS: Windshield is real nice, ide windows roll up and down good after lubing and putting a couple of new rollers in.

EXHAUST SYSTEM: Full tube headers, low Master mufflers, T dual tips through the rear valance.

WHEELS: 14 inch American Racing, hey are good, ut could use a good polishing due to spots that look like some acid rain spots.

TIRES: Good Firestone Firehawk tires.

LIGHTS: Headlights work, ail lights work, rake lights work, urn signals work and the interior under dash light works. Fog lights not working.

GAUGES: Gas gauge works, il pressure gauge works, emp works.

WIPERS WORK! NEW HEATER CORE! SPEEDOMETER IS NOT WORKING, WILL CHECK IT OUT IT IS CONNECTED! HORNS WORK! HORNS WORK!

PARKING BRAKE WORKS!

RADIO: Radio in the dash does not work, ar has a AM?FM CD player in the dash that works.

BRAKES: Disc in front, rums in rear.

STEERING: I consider the car drives good, t is manual steering.
