Description

I am selling my 1986 Ford Mustang Notchback. Car started out as a 4cyl and was converted over. Front end and interior is ofa 92 donor car. Interior has 92 Black dash, eats, arpet and misc trim. Still has original 86 Steering shaft in it. Head liner is redone and like new. Doorpanels are still from 86 painted black to match. Manual windows and locks. Heat and AC have been removed as well asclimate controls.I bought this car 6yrs ago as a roller and completely stripped and professionallyrepainted car. All trim and windows, umpers were removed for paint. Car was completely sand blasted including engine bay and prepped and painted. This car has no rust with solid shock towers. I have tons of pics of build from start to finish. This is a fun and very fast car.Car is street legal and can be driven on street. All lights and signals still in original working order. Original Engine wiring was completely removed and motor is now run by a painless wiring harness. Still uses Ignition key to activate starter button on Painless panel. I will try my best to give a list ofa breakdown of what is done to the car. Motor was Professionally Built by Rammito Race Engines with the help if A-Team Speed shop in Tinley Park IL. All safety requirements are met on the car and will pass Tech at any NHRA Sanctioned Track. Please Contact me with any Questions. This Car only has about 15 passes at the track on it and maybe about 75 miles of street driving on it. Just no time to enjoy it. Car is Legal and Clear Title just would need an exhaust on it as it is run open header for the track. I competed with the car at NMRASuperbowlat RT 66 Raceway in Joliet ILLast year in the open comp class. This is a very consistent car. The car has gone a best of10.42 @ 128MPHall on motor. This is a good car if you are a Grudge Racer. Here is a video of the car last ran a month ago, ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGbTOnlmDhI. There is well over 10k invested in just the motor in parts and assembly. Any Numbers or Stickers on the car are only on the glass and I can remove if needed. There is no Stickers on the body of the car at all. I have seen a bunch of notch mustangs built similar to mine but only running in the 11's sell for what my reserve is on the car. Pictures don't do this car justice. This is a killer car on the track and always turns heads at car shows. Please ask if you have any questions

Body

  • Car was painted about 4 years ago. Competely stripped of glass, oors, umpers, tc. Sandblasted, epped and Painted. Color is from 2002 Mineral Grey Mustang. There is paint stress cracks on front bumper cover as my mistake was have cover painted without header inside. So when it was installed the corners by the outer marker lights stretched and opened stressing the paint. Very few chips I can find. One Chip in corner of the hood up front. other is on Drivers door when bad molding got installed right after paint and was curling so it got removed and molding tape pulled a small spot of paint with it. Pics included. Otherwise it is a 9 outta 10 including the engine bay was painted as well.
  • Body is rust free and solid. Was a very solid car when bought with flawless Shock Towers.
  • Quarter windows are Brand New OEM NOS Carlite Windows. Look Factory Fresh ($1200)
  • All Window Trim is new and New Door Trim as well
  • New Weather Stripping
  • Brand New Key Locks all around
