Description

1985 30th Anniversary Thunderbird. Original low mile car (even has original 1985 stamped spark plug wires). Very clean for the year, ut does have a few minor flaws, isted below. Was originally in the same family until I bought it two years ago. I drove as a daily driver for most of a year and now just drive on occasion for fun. Have been getting 20 to 25mpg's. When I bought it I replaced hoses, elts, ap, otor, ear shocks(didn't need new ones though), uel filter, ir filter. Paper work in glove box showed a repair shop recommended new rear brakes, o I bought new brakes shoes, rums, prings, tc (about $200 worth) but when I checked the brakes they still had some life left so these parts have not been installed, ut will come with the vehicle. A new stereo was installed, ut won't come with the vehicle, ut it will come with the factory stereo UNINSTALLED. Original floor mats, aint, o modifications done that I can find. Replaced windshield ($300) a year ago.
Known issues I have found:
Glove box sometimes opens, ometimes doesn't, urrently doesn't
Needs new passenger side window motor, $20 to $70 on rock auto)
AC needs to be recharged, ut probably converted to current system
Has occasional scratches in paint
One small area (quarter sized) by rear wheel where paint chipped off and shows small surface rust
Has a glitchy resistor for the oil pressure gauge, t will randomly show low oil pressure then go back to normal, ometimes won't do it, ometimes bounces back and forth.
For piece of mind I installed (temporarily) a oil pressure gauge that showed what the oil pressure was. It ran 50 to 55 hot at highway speeds and 35 for a hot idle. Gauge is not installed, ut wires are still under the dash if someone wanted to do the same thing.
Shipping is responsibility of the buyer, ut I will help where I can. Miles can change as I do still drive it. For sale locally so reserve right to end early.
