Description

For sale is a 1973 GMC Sierra 3500 Box Truck, he VIN number reading TCY3331513892. This truck has received an open check book conversion that has been expertly executed with no expense spared. The exterior of this truck is finished in a teal and has decals on either side from when it was used by Steamboat Motorsports. The truck does not resemble any signs of rust on the exterior surfaces nor the underside. The paint has begun to dull a bit but still presents as driver quality and all emblems and badges are still present. This truck has not been in any accidents with the gaps and panel fitment all falling into the correct clearances.

The interior of the truck was completely redone at the time the vehicle was converted into a box truck and shows very well with no tears or stains in the cloth seats. The dash shows no cracking or damage with the gauges all working properly for the most part. There was an issue with the speedometer not working correctly which has led to a false odometer reading of 72,XXX miles and the last known mileage was recorded at 49,440 so the true mileage is unknown. The cabin is also equipped with a CB radio as well as a telephone. There is a small bunk behind the front seats which can comfortably accommodate one person but two people could manage as well.

The rear space has straps and points to tie down just about any vehicle whether that be a small boat, ar, r truck, ith ease. Installed in the rear space are cabinets which provide plenty of storage space, roper lighting, everal outlets, nd a winch. Once again the underside looks acceptable with no rust, ot, r major areas of concern to report. The frame is straight and has not received any sort of damage. Currently, he truck runs and drives with a transmission service just recently completed.

Mechanically, he truck could probably use a general service for it has not been in use recently and to dial a few items in so that it is prepared for long journeys. This truck boasts a brand new 454 cubic inch, ig block Chevrolet crate engine that sounds fantastic, as good oil pressure, nd pulls strong. This truck would make an excellent vehicle to transport any sort of recreational vehicles with the necessary accommodations present for long trips and with a mechanical service it would be a solid, eliable vehicle that has many applications for any petrol head.
