1959 GMC Half ton, riginal v8 truck with the Pontiac 336 engine, riginal hydramatic transmission, actory power brakes, actory power steering, ig window, hrome cab package and chrome front end.

I came across this truckthis past winter, nd even though I had no business buying another truck, decided to have it shipped up from California (original black plate which I have)because it was so rare that I figured I shouldn't pass it up. I already have 3of these trucks but couldn'thelp myself. I hadn't personally seen any of these factory options before and as silly as it sounds, hat was the main reason for buying it. But unfortunately, realize nowwhat I already knew then,that I don't have the space or timeand need to move on. This truck has all thefactory options rolled into one andany of these optionsthat make it so unique would be a great findindividually. That being said, hope this truck can go to someone that can appreciate the truck for its rarity and spend the small amount of time needed to do it the justice it deserves.

Not only does it have all these factory options, ut it is also the most solid originalone of these trucks that I have ever come by. Talk about a solid and straight body.

The truck was running andfunctioning reasonably well mechanically when I bought it. Since then, had the carb professional rebuilt (not just a carbkit) andnow the truck runs great. I'd say thatsomeone did some work mechanically on this truck not too long ago as the engine,brake booster and power steering pump all look pretty clean.I have not had this truck licensed and on the road and have only driven it around the neighborhood and to the gas station. Butlet me tell ya, eing an old guy, sure do love that power steering! Normally I would go over this truck from front to back and check everything mechanical but I just don't have the time or energy.

The good: All the stuff I already mentioned. The body is in fantastic shape overall. Runs great. All glass is good except for outfield of view crack in windshield. Just went over the exhaust and no leaks. The box is in great shape, his was obviously not used much as a work truck. The tailgate is also in noticeably excellent shape.

The bad: There are two small rust spots, ne on each door. The one on the driver's door is rusted through the door skin a small amount as pictured. The only otherrust through is in the drivers side lower hinge pocket as seen in picture. One small dent on the lip around the wheel opening of the front driver's side fender. The seal around the rear window is dried out and should be replaced as it has separated from the cab a bit. The brake lights and tail lights need to be hooked up. Missing driver's side parking lens, ezel and surround as seen in pictures.

I did not buy this truck with the plan to resell it, ut here I am looking for someonethat appreciates the rare factory options as much as I do, ut that also has the time and space for it.
