Description

DAILY DRIVER - 1975 GMC Jimmy High Sierra 4x4 with fully removable top. Rebuilt 350 Chevy small block with Edlebrock carb/filter, upgraded pistons and cams, and Thorley Headers. Upgraded A/C system that was just recharged. New brakes and Falken tires added last year. Professionally installed sound system with Sony deck, Polk Audio mids, bridged MTX amplifiers and two box-mounted MTX subwoofers (one speaker has small tear). Additional gauges, lights, and CB radio mounted in custom housing that extends from roll bar to front window frame, and also under dash. Steel brake lines, sway bars and disc brakes. All new seals. New radiator, U-joints, steering box and repacked front bearings. Custom two-tone paint job with dark green bottom half that only shows in direct light. Removable top is in great condition, and new seal is included for the new owner who wants to take the top off.
Truck has some tears in rear seat (pictured), speedometer is a couple mph off (from lift I would imagine), turn signal goes on but doesn't blink, lever for AC/Heat blower is a little finicky and probably needs to be replaced. Custom pain job isn't professional, but looks good. Driver door lock gets stuck occasionally and outside button has to be pushed to open it. Truck isn't perfect and has little things like these I'm probably forgetting. I've priced it as a daily driver with the minor repairs considered.

Tuck has had four owners. First three lived in Arizona. Original owner professionally restored his truck in the 90s, second owner lived next door, bought it, and added the after market items. Third owner lived in same neighborhood and just toyed with it. I purchased it from him and drove it cross-country to Maryland. I drove the truck to work and back and to pick up the kids for a year, but the wife wouldn't let me take the newborn in it. So I had to buy a newer vehicle. It's a kick in the balls, but I'm sure the new owner will have fun with it.
I did a lot of practical work to keep the truck on the road, and have receipts for the work. Some of the work has transferable warranties. I also have many receipts from previous owners. $1000 deposit due immediately upon winning bid. I'm happy to recommend a reliable shipping service is buyer needs.
