Up for auction is a BEAUTIFUL 1954 GMC 100 half ton pickup truck. 248 six cylinder, speed on the floor. Newer blue paint.Runs and drives well. 48K miles. Theengine has a new fuel/vacuum pump and a new starter. The previous owner had it overhauledbut no documentation. It runs cool and hasgreat oil pressure. This is a half-ton long box. It has the original 16” 6 lug wheels that wereblasted (inside and out) and paintedalmond in color. The truck drives and steers fine for an original truck of this vintage. Brakes work very good for 4 wheel drum. The parking brake works. All lights and gauges work including added turn signals front and back. The speedometer works but is off some. The original horn works as do the vacuum wipers. Doors open and close nicely and have new seals. Good glass with new rubber and deluxe chrome trim. New cab windlace and headliner. Original factory GMC jet plane hood ornament. New seat upholstery with seat belts. New stainless bedstrips, ak bed wood and side boards. Original chrome grill and surround (the surround has some minor dents). Has an alternator and 12 volt conversion. Open drive, 2 bolt rear axle from a ’68 Chevrolet pickup. New rear shocks. It goes down the highway fine at 60mph. 6.50-16 tires are ok but do have some weathering. Straight and solid truck with very little rust (before paint). Minor rust in inner front lower cab corners and the very bottom of the inner kick panels (previous owner patched with fiberglass and painted over). The heater will need a 12 to 6 volt reducer to work. Clear matching 1954 title. The carburetor was just rebuilt. If this truck needs anything I might dial in the timing as it has a sputter occasionally when it is cold but that may be normal otherwise it is a nice truck that gets a lot of compliments. Very reasonable reserve.See pictures and ask questions before bidding. Thank you.
