Description

Selling my 1977 Honda Accord hatchback. Car has a 1. 6L 4 cylinder engine with a 5 speed transmission. I am the 2nd owner of this car. having purchased it from the original owner 7 years ago. Car is silver with a black interior. Car has just over 200k on the original well maintained engine. Motor is still in good running condition. with the only signs of it mileage a little bit of oil smoke when 1st starting after sitting for a while. (I no longer drive the car much) Just easily passed CA smog test 2 weeks ago so there is obviously no constant oil burning. The original owner. who I have known since 96’. took very good care of the car and I have done quite a bit of work over the years I have owned it to keep it dead solid reliable. Below is a list of the basics the car has. /p> -Air conditioning (Needs recharge) -Power front disc brakes -AM/FM/CD/AUX Sony 50w head unit mounted with a very hard to find install kit (not hacked in) -Intermittent wipers -Bucket seats -Fold down rear seat -Rear wiper (works intermittent) -Engine: · Original matching # 1600cc EF1 Engine · New timing belt and fan belts · Recent tune up · Factory Honda rebuilt alternator · Current CA smog certificate -Interior · New upholstery on the front and rear seats · Original front carpet in nice shape. Matching floormats · New carpet in the hatch area · Rare optional cargo cover · All door panels in very good shape · Nice dash with only a few small cracks · New heater control valve · Tinted windows (sides need to be redone) · Have factory option rear speaker mounts. but not installed -Exterior · Older silver repaint(original color). Getting a little dull. but still polishes up pretty nice. · Body is very straight. Only rust issue is on the left fender. Couple spots of rust through. Could be fixed or replace fender. · Very rare NOS bumper corners installed · Rare front and rear bumper over riders · NOS front grill · Very rare NOS front and rear rubber aprons with NOS fasteners · All glass in good shape · Shaved emblems -Miscellaneous · New A/C compressor and dryer installed a few years ago. · New clutch assembly · New struts. front and rear · New brakes. front and rear. All new rubber brake hoses. New rear wheel bearings · Lowered about 1. 5” on cut factory springs (not torched or heated) · Very rare factory alloy wheels from the one year only SE model. Full set including spare and all centercaps · Almost new Bridgestone tires. About 5 years old. but only about 3k miles on them. -Needs · Door weatherstripping (has some wind noise. but not bad) · Clock works intermittently · Left fender repair or replacement (if the rust bothers you) · Valve seals will correct the smoking issue if it is a concern I also have some spare parts such as NOS windshield gasket and strut isolators. a fiberglass air dam (DOBI style) and some various spare parts the winning bidder will be offered 1st crack at before being listed individually. In closing. you will get a very clean and reliable (it is a Honda) nostalgic Japanese car (values are climbing quickly on these) that needs almost nothing except a new owner to care for it. There are not very many of these cars left on the road. and even fewer in the condition this is in. I doubt you would be disappointed in this car for what I would like to get for it. Now for the fine print. Winning bidder to pay a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $300 via paypal within 24 hours of auction close with balance due via certified bank check drawn against Wells Fargo. Chase. or BofA ONLY. within 7 days of auction end. unless other arrangements are made in advance. Once payment has cleared. I will send the title via registered mail. All transportation is the responsibility of the buyer and the car will need to be
