Description

RARE 1965 International Harvester c1200 Heavy Duty 4x4 Long Box Stepside. 345 v8 (from 1973 Travelall). Holley 4v. 4spd manual. PS. PB. Dana 70 Rear. 9. 00x16 NDT Military tires. Mechanically great. Used daily as a ranch truck. Very healthy engine. gearbox and clutch. Good Brakes. Custom front Bumper. Parking brake is not engaging properly. Heater is non functional but intact. Plenty of dings and some minor rust to contend with. but solid truck overall. Some cracks in the glass (replacement side glass is included). Great patina and character! We believe this truck was originally used on the Southern Pacific Railroad in the Sierra Nevada mountains as a telephone linesman vehicle. Prior to delivery. truck will be serviced with new belts. hoses. master cylinder and oil service. Clean and clear CA title. Located in Auburn. Ca 95603 with easy truck access to Interstate 80. Please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have prior to bidding. Car is sold as-is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible to make shipping arrangements. however we are happy to assist with all shipping both domestic and international. * I have had many inquiries on this truck regarding flying in and then driving it back home. some as far as cross country. Even though I use the truck on a daily basis and find it to be mechanically sound. please understand that this is a 50 year old truck that was not designed to travel at highway speeds even when it was new. It is geared low and has bias ply off road military tires which is fine for around town and short distances on the highway. What the new owner decides to do as far as transporting it to it's new home is completely up to them. but I would strongly advise trailering/trucking this vehicle any distance over 100 miles away. *Please be ready to purchase this car when bidding. We are upfront with this listing and ask only the same from prospective buyers. Because of unfortunate non pay bidders we have experienced in the past. we ask for a $1000. 00 deposit via paypal within 24 hrs. and full payment wired or cash/certified bank check be sent within 3 business days of auction end. We will not hold the car for 2 weeks while the bidder gets their financial affairs in order. If these terms are not met. car will be re-listed and bidder in question will be reported to Ebay for violation. Unless prior arrangements are made. we expect the vehicle to be picked up within 3 weeks from end of auction. All vehicles not picked up after 3 weeks will incur a $15/day storage fee which must be paid prior to releasing the vehicle. All questions and inspections are to be done prior to purchasing vehicle. Car is sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. While we have made every effort to represent the car to our best ability. buyer understands that this is a 50 year old classic car which will show obvious signs of prior use. wear and tear. and potential major repairs/maintenance which will be required in the future. Buyer acknowledges these risks by placing a bid on this auction and understands that the seller is not responsible for any repairs or is in any way obligated to issue a refund for this vehicle once it is sold. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!
