Description

You are bidding on my 1952 International Harvester L-110 "stepside" pickup truck.Titled as a 1953,as this was the year that it was first registered. This truck is in great shape, with low mile, and no excuses.Offered at a fair "Buy It Now" price,or feel free to shoot me a reasonable offer. Here are the details:

I picked this truck up last year from the second owner, who had purchased it from the original family that had used it as their "farm truck" in New Hampshire. The truck had been repainted by the original owners family approx. 15 years ago,and it still shows well.Has some scratches/scuffs here 7 there, but nothing major. Not show quality, but very presentable.Would probably benefit from a polishing/buffing.Mileage is accurate, and the overall condition verifies the truck was well taken care of,and not abused.

The straight six motor fires right up,hot or cold, and comes to a smooth idle rapidly. The carb was just rebuilt, and new fuel filters were installed at both the gas tank, and at the carb inlet. Also replaced the fuel pump.Motor oil & oil filter were replaced,as was the push rod side cover gasket. The intake/exhaust manifold gasket set was also replaced at this time.Radiator is solid, and the coolant was flushed/changed.

All electrical components were replaced including points, condenser, rotor, distributer cap, coil, plugs & plug wires. Also had the starter motor just rebuilt, and a brand new battery installed, along with battery cables. All lights/gauges work, and I installed new headlights & taillights. The aftermarket turn signal assembly is bad,but I have a brand new unit I will include.

Original 3-speed manual transmission shifts easily, and the clutch action is great, with lots of life left.

Brakes work great, and the parking brake needs adjusted. No issues at all.Tires are older bias ply,but have plenty of tread left, and hold air without leaking. The truck tracks straight, and drives easily.

Thecab is solid, with no signs of any past repairs, bondo or filler.Small dent on back below the rear split window. All panels are straight,as is the hood, and the hood raises from both sides without any binding. All glass appears to be original, and no cracks or holes.Vent windows works fine.Could use a new sun visor.Original heater box works.Has seat belts on both sides.Rubber floor mat was replaced at some point with carpeting installed.Interior is clean, with no rips or tears in the seat, and I installed new door panels, kick panels, and headliner.Floor is solid, with no rust or issues. All windows/levers/cranks work as they should. The emblems on the fenders & the hood ornament were sprayed silver at some point,as opposed to being replated.

The eight foot bed is solid, with little wear evident on the steel bed floor, which also attests to its low mileage, and the care taken over the years. The fenders are straight, with a small dent on the passenger side fender near the top.Tailgate is also solid, with new lift chains.

Frame is solid front to back, with surface rust, but no rot or holes. The original running boards were replaced with wood pattern boards, but I have a set of originals that will need to be spliced/welded,and repainted that are included with the truck.

Also included are factory workshop& parts manuals, owners manual, along with period brochures.Clear Pennsylvania title in my name.

Overall,a really nice solid old truck that's fun to tool around in,or take it to that "next level" if you like. Can't go wrong either way,as these old trucks always retain their value.
