Just recently put a 266V=8 motor in the Scout(same block as 304). It had a 4cyl in it with #3 cyl down. Other things that have been done recently are- new poly gas tank gas sending unit gas gauge manual fuel pump aux elect fuel pump fuel fiter 2brl carb rebuilt about a year ago plgs points left side exhaust battery 3 core alum radiatoroil-filter-antifreeze rear brake shoes and wheel cyls brake line one used rotor and the pads are like new. 2000lb bradin winch. Tires are 50% with 15" steel wagon wheels. Cluch dis.
It has new floor boards outer rocker panelone left side body mount cab wedge and two lower frt qt panel replacement panels. If you ar going to paint ityou will need to do some more sanding on Qt panels. Has crack on left side windshield. horn doesn't work as well as the wipers. I have another wiper motor and switch. Factory radio(?). Bench seat is nice. No holes or tears. Floors have been rinoed. Doors and hood open great
