This is aONE owner 1973 International Scout that has spent it's existence on the coast of California

The is an original California vehicle since new and still bears both of it's front and rear "blue and yellow" license plates which verifies it's heritage

The paint finish is100% original and has a lovely patina. There are no accidents touch up's or previous repairs rust or otherwise. What your getting is a bone stock original un-restored specimen (rare).

The frame and undercarriage are 100% rust free and the structural integrity of theScout is superb.

There are various imperfections (blisters chips dings dents and some minor rust on the body of the car(see pics) mostly on the removable top and hood from being close to the beach. TheScout is not rusted in any areas that are "important" to the structural or drivability integrity to the vehicle.

Everything should be able to be repaired without any replacement panels. The hood does have extensive rust but is still fully operable and if you were going to restore thevehicle the hoodwould be a part you may want to replace.

Sheruns anddrives extremely well. She steers nicely and the drivetrain is solid.This is a factory air conditioned example howeverwe have not tested it and are assuming it will needto be serviced.The gages all seem to be registering correctly. The engine accelerates nicely and is a strong runner. The transmission shifts properly through all the gears. The 4x4 low and high gears engage properly.

The interior is is very attractive for its age. The dash instrumentation and console look better than average. ThisScout has a great appeal as-is however if you wanted to restore it she wouldmake the perfect transformation. All of the exterior chrome trim and molding are also in better than average condition without pitting. The other chrome suchas the bumpers and various other parts will need to be restored for a perfect end result.
