Description

1968 Scout. This Scout I purchased from a neighbor's that had it sitting in his driveway for about twenty years. I was amazed at how clean it was. No real rust on it. It still had the original motor and standard transmission. Oil bath air filter. It had oil in and the fuel was bad. Changed oil put new fuel in it. New battery and she fired right up. Did some carb work. The Scout odometer said 60,000 miles on it. When I put in the new engine and the new used steering wheel and cluster It had 48,000 miles on it. I figure there is 7,225 miles on the engine and trans. Drove it as is for a year then the fun started. Started from the ground up.
