For sale is my 1971 International Scout II. Truck has the desirable 345 V8 engine, anual transmission and fully functioning 4WD. This vehicle is ready to go as a daily drive or would be an excellent start to a full restoration with many upgrades already taken care of. Since taking ownership of the Scout I have done the following:
-new suspension and 4" suspension lift
-poly body mounts
-new gas tank, ending unit, traps and hardware
-new clutch
-new fuel pump
-new wiper motor
-custom paint job in International Mint with white top
-custom upholstered front and rear seats in black all weather vinyl with white piping
-bed liner in bed and floors
-custom stereo system with weather resistant CD/Bluetooth player (in case you're caught in the rain with the top off)
-"show bar" with included bikini top
- power steering
- brush guard
-steering stabilizer and "straight steer"
-new heater core and hoses
-exhaust system (original headers but everything back from that was replaced)
- new master cylinder, rake proportioning valve and brake job in 2014
-Brand new Maxxis Bighorn tires (33x12.50 with less than 250 miles on them)
There are plenty of other minor improvements that I can't think of but I just picked up the truck from a regular servicingata certified mechanic who checked the truck front to back and gave a clean bill of health. Scoutis virtually rust free with no cancer spots or weak spots in the frame. There are few of these classics out there that are already in this good of shape and ready to hit the road and turn heads.
