Description

You are bidding on a 1956 International S-140 factory 4 wheel drive truck. 27348 original miles. This truck came from Trinity County Municipality in California. It had a snow plow on it when I got it. The original engine has been replaced with a small block Chevy and 4spd transmission. It has a new larger radiator in it. It does have the original transfer case and levers. I have the original radiator frame and some other parts that go with the truck. The rear glass is broken and passenger side glass is also. It has some lights on top of the cab and looks like there might have been some spot lights or extra plow lightsat one time also. The truck is very solid with only very little surface rust. The truck is fairly straight for it's age with exception of the passenger side rear fender. I do have the passenger side rest of the rear bumper, t was cut off whenit slid up against a tree. This truck has the rarefactory 9' 3" pickup bed and single rear wheels with the rear fender extensions and wheel spacers. Tail gate opens and closes good with just minor dents. The bottom of the bed is very solid. This truck is one of only 742 S-140 4x4's made in 1956 and 1957. The grill has cuts in it to accommodate the plow braces. It does come with two extra tires and wheels. There are lots of 56' S series trucks out there for parts.Clear title in my name. This truck runs and drives but brakes are a little soft.Battery is getting week and will need to be replaced soon. Please ask any questions you may have. Buyer is 100% responsible for any and all shipping costs. I can and will assist in loading the truck. I accept Pay-Pal only for the deposit. The remaining balance cannot be paid with Pay-Palunless you want to pay the fees. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will accept cash, ashiers check, ersonal check. The truck with not be shipped until allfunds arecleared. Thanks for lookingOn Aug-28-15 at 17:30:19 PDT, eller added the following information:

An update: A lot of people have asked dimensions of the truck. It is 19 feet long by 8 feet tall minus the light on top of the cab, '6" including the light. It is 78" wide outside of the tires and 83" wide outside of the front hubs. I do not know what the truck weighs, would guess around 6,000 plus pounds. It has the original transfer case and shift levers and drive shafts. The enginehas a GM 4spd transmission behind it. It does has an intermediatedrive shaft between the transmission and transfer case. The park brake has been taken off but I do have all the parts to put it back on I believe. The hood opens to the rear with hinges as shown in the pictures. The original side tilting hood parts are gone. It has original 18 inch wheels on it. It has a new fuel pump on it and rebuilt carburetor. It starts and runs good. I have looked for an axle tag and have not found one. I do not know what the axle ratio is. The passenger side rear fender spacer is in good shape. I do not see any rust in the front headlight area or under the cab. And yes the frame numbers on the drivers front frame rail match the title. That is all for now. If I find the axle ratio I will post it. Thanks for all the interest and questions.
