Description

Hello All,
This is a beautiful example of a 1953 (mfg date) XK120 DHC. Titled as a 1954, his beautiful XK120 DHC went through a full body off restoration in the mid 1990's. When it was completed, he owner never drove her. He would sit in his garage, rink in hand and just awe at her beauty. He passed away shortly after the restoration. She was then sold as part of the estate to a local british car club member. He drove her for, aybe, year or less. Then she developed a brake leak. He parked her, ever to be driven again until I revived her. He trailored her to car shows, inning many awards. I would see her on the back of the trailer at car shows, lways wanting to acquire her and get her back on the road again where she belonged... Well, o my luck, he became available to purchase last year. The owner needed the cash to complete another classic car that he owned. So it was finally mine! It took me many months to get her road worthy again. Gas tank replacement, ew fuel lines, nd many new parts (new battery x1 small 12v; all gauges sent to Nissonger for redo; clock to Mike Eck for redo; all new fluids; many other new parts totalling over $9k).
I drive her at least 1x each week, n weekends, hen the weather is nice. She is a great driver, nd ooh... what looks and thumbs up she receives! She does have a Heritage Certificate from Jaguar.
Folks, ots more to talk about, ut don't want to do this here. If you are interested, lease contact me, lease bid. I am now selling even though I am in love with beauty! I have just recently acquired another Jaguar from a local british car club member. I can only have have one project, lassic car at a time. Wife is driving this.... If it was totally my decision, would keep my beloved XK120. She is such a work of art!
Please note in pictures that I did purchase and install new Cooker white wall tires.

All, s I look again at the pictures that I posted, here are some that are "out dated". During my time period to get her back on the road again.... I had all x5 wheels powder coated and new Cooker white wall tires installed. I also have installed new tri-bar headlights (not US, ut UK spec at the time). Very cool looking!Other items replaced: brake master cylinder; fuel pump; engine and trans rubber mounts; new coil, ondenser, park plugs; and many more parts. The goal was to make her road worthy again. The goal was a show car that can be driven "anywhere", ot a garage queen!
Please email for add'l pictures of this beauty!
