Description

Selling my 1975 Jaguar xj6. I purchased this car about two years ago but have decided to sell because I have too many projects and this wasn't getting the attention it deserves. After I purchased it, I replaced the tires, rebuilt the brake calipers and replaced the brake pads and lines, I also replaced the rear rotors and installed a new brake booster. I had a new aluminum radiator installed to keep it running cool in the summer heat, and also replaced all of the hoses. The temperature gauge shows it is overheating, but Itemporarily installed anAutometer gauge and it showed that the engine runs at 195 degrees. Oil pressure is about 20psi at idle. The engine runs well and has plenty of power. The air pump was rebuilt and thecatalytic converter was replaced. The car passed emissionseffortlessly. The transmission oil and filter has been replaced. The engine and transmission does leak, but it isn't bad. In the interior, I had the seatsreupholstered in real leather and the seat foam was replaced at the same time. I was going to start restoring the interior but my other projects take priority. The carpets are new and heat and sound insulation has been installed. The windshield, rear window, and all of the door seals have been replaced. The fuel tanks have been cleaned and the fuel pumps and fuel lines have been replaced. Ihaven't done anything with the paint - my highestconcern was with making the car reliable. Although the paint and some of the interior needs to be redone, the cardrives well. You could pick the car up and drive it home, however it is still a Jaguar. I would recommend having it shipped. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 is due within 24hrs of auction end.If you have any questions pleasedon'thesitate to ask.
