Red 1989 2 door coupe Jaguar XJS Convertible.
This car is fun to drive and it gets compliments everywhere. I am selling this car for my 76 year oldconservative driving father. He owns a home in Wisconsin and one in Florida. He purchased the car in 2011 and drove it to Florida in 2012 without any problems at all. He asked me to sell the car for himbecause he needs more garage space.
The odometer on the car reads 66221. The originalengine was replacedwith a John's Chevrolet Conversion kit in 2008. The Jaguar's engine was replaced with a rebuilt 1978 Chevrolet 350 cubic inch small block engine. The engine is stock and runs great. There is less then 5000 miles on the rebuilt engine and 1500 miles of that was the drive from Wisconsin to Florida.
The Good:
- New BF Goodrich T/A tires
- New brakes
- New top
- New exhaust
- Perfect AC, orking power top, ew head liner, ower windows, ront and rear defrost, orking seat warmers, ower ABS brakesand power steering
- Rear glass window
- Clear Wisconsin Title in hand
The bad:
- The onlyoperational problem that I am aware of is the gasgauge is not accurate and the cruise control does not work.
- There is a rust spot underneath the drivers side rearquarter panel about the size of asilver dollar behind the drivers side rear wheel.
- There are a few scratches on the car that have been touched up with red paint.
- Door ding on the passenger side
Thank you for looking.
