Description

1971 Jaguar XKEtotally upgraded in New Zealand by Beacham Independent Jaguar Specialists. Completely new, ll carbon fiber body shell and nose. Strengthened6000 aluminum front subframe and "all" running gear from 2011 Jaguar supercharged XKR. Wow !!When I say all the XKR running gear, mean all. Modern XKR zoned Heat/AC,5.0 supercharged V8 engine and trans,Front & rear suspension and braking and all the XKR amenities. The best of both worlds...Plus the larger cockpit of the Series III V-12 XKE for more interior room, ut with the much prettier front and rear of an early series I.. In other words, hesmall mouth, eadlight covered, mall parking lights at the front, lus the recessed license plate area, mall over the bumper rear tail lights from the series 1, ut stillretaining the more aggressivefender flares of the series III (to go along with the new 19 inch chrome wire wheels). This is indeed a true super car. Several years in development at incredible cost and done by the most experienced "upgrader" of classic Jaguars in the World. Ask anybody in the know and they can tell you that Dr Greg Beacham and his small group of craftsmenfor over 25 years, as restored and built some of the finest "usable" classic Jaguars on the planet in his Havelock, ew Zealand shop. I know. I have 2 of them.You can see this body/chassis unit on display Sept 11-13th at the Goodwood Revival show in Chichester England. Beacham's show booth is number 324/329 at Goodwood. They are only building 12 of these handcrafted "modernized" E-types per year.
