Jaguar introduced the series III of the XJ in April of 1979; a number of changes were introduced at that time. These changes included revised bumpers, oor handles, oor glass, rille, he location of the reverse lights, s well as a revised roofline; this goes to show just how significant this "refresh" truly was. This particular example was purchased from the original owner and comes with a nearly complete maintenance/ service history; it even still has its original window sticker. It was purchased in Colorado this past summer and made the drive back to Rhode Island with no issues. The paint on this XJ6 is in great shape overall but does have some imperfections, here are a few very minor chips on the body, nd some light surface scratches throughout but still presents extremely well. The exterior brightwork has some surface scratching, ut is in very favorable shape overall. Bumpers are in great shape. The interior is in near perfect shape but does have a few minor blemishes, ncluding a tear in the fabric in the storage tray above the radio. Mechanically the car is very sound, t runs and drives smoothly, t has a very powerful six-cylinder and a smooth-shifting automatic gearbox. The wheels on this are in a very favorable condition, ut do have some very minor blemishes. The tires are in great shape and have many miles ahead of them. Overall, his is quite possibly one of the most documented and maintained XJ6's available for sale.
