I have agood running 1973 CJ-5 up for auction. It wasframe onrestored about 5 years ago by previous owner with a new best-top soft-top installed. He didn't have a garage to keep it in so theclear coat isbeginning to peel in places on the hood, owl and tops of the fenders. It has a couple ofbubbles in the paint, ut all in all its a pretty solid Jeep to be a 1973 model. I had the seats recovered in black vinyl and put a good coating of Rhino lining inside the tub. The frame is rust free and solid, hich is rare forthis old of a Jeep.The tailgate section is really good and has very little rust at all. The floor pans have had patch panels put in, ut are solid and look good with the Rhino lining. The Jeep has apadded dash, eat belts are in it, o back seat, eater works, ights work, ipers work, he transfer case and manual hubs work as they should.The clutch was replaced by previous owner and I have the old one that came out of it. It didn't look that bad, ut a spring came out of theclutch, o they replaced it.The clutchreleases at the very top of theclutch pedal travel. I was going to adjust it, ut the clutch rod has no adjustment on it(see pic). I personally don't think its the correct clutch rod. Itdoes not have any threads at all, ut itfits right and looks correct, ut just no adjustment. The engine is a small block chevy 283 cid. that runs great. It does not smoke, eak or rattle and fires up the first time everytime. The choke works good, nbsp;It holds good oil pressure, emperature guage works, t has anHEI distributor,new battery, rue dualexhaustran out the back witha slight turndown on the tailpipes.Its a pretty good little Jeep, ut like any 40+ year old Jeep, ou can always find something to do or tinker with on them. The reserve is low compared to others on ebay. Please feel free to ask questions as I check my email daily. I can help with shipping.
