Very important point I wanted to make clear..
To list this Jeep Ebay does a "vehicle history report". Which is a good thing. The problem is, back in 1996 it looks like thisjeep was re-posessed because of non payment.Nothing was wrong with theJeep at all. In which case Ebay's history report somehow gives this a "Salvage" title and calls this a "MajorIssue" on the history report. Not only that it thenforces me to choose "Salvage" before it can be listed to sell. This is nonsense and very confusing to me because it was never in an accident, has never been damaged in anyway. Either way this is not an issue because the Jeep has gone through a total Restoration. Please understand the winner of this auction will receive an official DMV title that is clean, clear and correct. Ebay needs to fix their history report system. Just because someone didn't make a payment 20 years ago doesn't mean the Jeep is a "Salvage".
Ok are you ready?This is a Fully customized, professional frame off, show quality restoration! It literally may be the most beautiful jeeps you will ever see. She gets thumbs up, smiles, honks and compliments every single time I go fora drive. Odometer reads 124k but that's not true. That was the original miles that were put on the Jeep before it had the restoration. In order to keep the title clean the Odometer was not tampered with or set back to Zero when the restoration was finished. Only 15k has been put on the Jeep since the restoration was completed.
- Beautiful "Slut Red" paint job with 7 coats of base coat/clear coat.
- Custom double column steel bumpers that are chrome plated, heavy duty, robust and solid! Speaking of "Chrome". There is so much heavy chrome all over this Jeep from the front to the back. It's ridiculous. Please see the detailed pictures to appreciate it.
- When the frame off restoration was done a few years ago the entire frame was removed and put on a "Rotisserie" where the entire chassis was powder coated and painted. The amount of detail that went into this restoration is hard to explain. Every bolt, nut andpart was taken off and replaced. Itreally isa stunning ride, and so much fun to drive.
- The entire interior is "Rino-Lined" for protection, waterproof and to prevent rust. Which there is ZERO on this Jeep. The liner extends under the back seat and even the tailgate is lined with it. The roll cage was removed and painted the matching red.
- "Best Top" brand Bikini Top, "Best Top Brand"Full Soft Top with upper soft doors. "Best Top Brand" waterproof seats! All in fantastic condition.
- 3 inch body lift that's classy and very well done. BF Goodwrench All Terrain Tires.
- Custom Aluminum Rims
- The engine is a very reliable 2.5 liter that runs like a dream. Sounds just like a classic Jeep. No leaks, odd noises or issues. I would jump in and drive across country tomorrow. This was just serviced last month with new fluids, oil change, and emergency brake. Happy to include all receipts and info.
-Transmission is a 5 speed manual that shifts smooth as silk.
-4x4 works perfectly in both high and low gears. Has a solid steel trailer hitch that's ready to pull or tow.
-This Jeep has always been adult driven with pride and respect, garaged kept and covered. She's never been abused or even taken off road. Yep that's right, she's never been off roading or gone "mudding".I droveher around on sunny days to enjoy the beach and mountains. I've always been a Jeepguy and this is the most attractive one i've ever seen anywhere.Ilove the look and feel of the olderJeeps from the 80's and it's almost impossible to find one with no rust, no issues. Not to mention one that's gone through a professional frame off resto. This is a 27 year old Jeep that looks and drives like a dream.
