Description

78 Jeep CJ5 here. Its got a 3 speed manual transmission with the 258 6 cylinder.I am unsure of mileage. The odometer and gas gauge don't work.
Mechanically sound and runs like a champ. This winter, I sunk $3500 making sure it was mechanical sound. The work done this winter is too much to list here, but was done at a local garage. I have very detailed receipts of the work done, and you can stop in and talk to the mechanics yourself. I have no affiliation with this garage (ie they are not my buddies) - so you will get an honest assessment from them about its value and condition.
It has what appears to a be a 6 inch lift with 33's. The mechanics were impressed with some other stuff done to the Jeep. I honestly can't remember what they told me - but there is more than meets the eye with this thing.
In addition to making this mechanically sound, I invested in a Motorcraft 2100 carb - which makes a huge difference. I also put in 2 new Smittybilt seats, and had the interior rhino-lined.
