Up for auction is a very rare find in today's market. A one family owned 1985 CJ7 "Spring Edition" with factory air. Hard top. 4.2 6 cyl.I am the second owner of 8 months. The jeep has its original red paint and as you can tell has faded down pretty good. I intentionally did not have it painted so the new owner can see the condition of the Body and verify the "Spring Edition" model. No bondo No filler no rust! The body is as straight as you will find. Don't see a ding anywhere on it. The floors are good with mainly surface rust with the drivers having a heavier scale. The interior is original with the drivers seat being torn on the side as you can see from the photos. The back seat was placed back in for the photo and is not mounted. Original rear spare carrier is included and mounted. The jeep has factory air which is all there but had a heater core installed and they failed to hook the electrical wires back to the under dash unit when they reinstalled it. The jeep has 169k miles on the odometer. It drives and handles very well.
So here it is:
Factory Hardtop in great condition - I don't believe the top has ever been removed due to the lack of rust in the traditional spots. No Roll Bar mount rust and very little scale in the front floor.
Factory AIR CJ7 - needed connected
T176 Transmission - Shifts like new
Dana 300 Transfer Case (4x4) - works great
