WHAT THE JEEP NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED
I'd say the Jeep is 95+% completed. It runs and drives as is but needs a few minor adjustments to be road worthy for long trips and cosmetics to be done
- Mechanical: Transmission needs final adjustment of bands, ine pressure and TV cable (local shop gave an estimate of $170 for work that needed to be done)
- Trans dipstick gasket needs replaced, rips a bit once warmed up
- Transfer case linkage adjustment
- Engine bay wiring needs to be cleaned up since Nutter Bypass and emissions were removed
- Weber carb could be readjusted now that summer is here
- Rear seat needs brackets and installed, ear seatbelts bolted in
- Rear hatch lift struts are getting weak and will need replaced, ear hatch lower trim needs finishing
- Front windshield is cracked. Replacement is included and just needs installed
- Needs horn button cover
- Needs trans reverse switch ( prong broke and reverse lights are intermittent)
COSMETIC:
- CJ style dash installed if you choose to but not needed
- Hood needs minor dent repair on front lip and repainted
- CJ fender flares installed
-Slight dent in drivers door where my bother leaned against it. Should pop out
- inside door handles installed
