Description

Here is an original 1989 Jeep 4x4 Comanchepickuptruck that's in a rather good condition for its age. It's the Metric Ton 7 ft. Longbed (which was an option) with the 4.0 liter engine, 5 speed manual trans and 4x4 that works fine.Paint on exterior is still pretty good with some shine.I do want to featurethe fact this truck has no rust on the frame and inside the wheel wells because it's had and still hasmuch of the factory undercoating on it, hat's pretty amazing for a 26 yrold Jeep truck.
I do try to show pictures and describe things the best I can about the vehicle and I will try to be as accurate as possible but is always best to come see vehicles in person. I will tell you it's a very solid truck and for an '89 Comanche it's in good shape all around, ot perfect but a good specimen for a full restoration if you so desired, t wouldn't take much to make it an even cooler truck.I've just recently decided to sell it.It can be a daily driver, or me it was a vehicle I've used and bought withintent to fully restore it one day. It drives and handles well.
There is pretty minimal rust on the truck, hat means just not much for a 26 yr old Jeep truck and I will make mention anything of note, nd as I stated, he frame has none, tried to show it in pics. To me rust is one of the most important details with a vehicle, n my opinion, tarting with vehicle frames. The only things of rust mention to note are as follows, little started on rockers, ne side has a small area starting and other side just a smaller hole, 've thrown a shot of rustpreventer and primer to protect it and alsoon a few surface chips and scratches of which are typical. Some rust is starting to bubble under the paint at top of one wheel well, nd there's also a smallhole startedunderneath at the corner of the drivers floor but is small enough to fix easy. The tailgate has some scratches and it's light surface stuff which to me hardly matters. That's about it, nd all is what I consider of note and are small things and easy fixes in the big picture and def. for an '89 truck such as this.Under the bed looks clean as well and inside the bed is good, think it was hardly exposed and Ibelieve a cap was on for some years of it life (and also, aybe a bed liner) seeing bed rails have the holes for attaching a cap.Interior is clean and it has no dash cracks, ll in good shape. Noheadliner in and is typical for these trucks. The glass is good except for a crack in lowerwindshield and a small chip. You'll need to fix the E brake. I've recently replaced rear exhaust pipe and a new hood release cable. So body wise, 've described what I can and any dentsof note are hardlynoticeable of small 2 minor, ne is more of a crease dent on front fender, he other is a small dent on lower rear quarter, s pictured. I really try to show what I can in pictures so you can see the inside/outside of truck if youcan't come in person.
Engine runs quite good, he 5 spd. trans shifts well, he 4x4 works, ll the fundamentals are working well. This truck is a good find and not many can be foundoriginal and in this way. Options too, t has are the long bed 7 ft, ilt wheel, quippedwith A/C but condenser was removed by previousowner, asy enough to get back. TheInterior dash anddoor panels are clean and dash free of cracks, arpet not bad at all, ust need awindow crank handle onpassenger door, he bucket seats in it are not stock. One Jeep center cap is missing on the rear wheel. Tires are just like new and about 6 months old. Should mention there's a button next to the fog light button on the dash you just need to depress as you turn the key to start truck.Previous owner said it's just a bypass to ignition switch and its never bothered me to press a button for 2 seconds which becamesecond nature. As well, t poses no issue nor is it going to be.The truck looks good, he engine drives quite strong for the miles, eally it does.Be a proud owner of a Jeep Comanche which become more rare and rise in value as theyears pass. The 1989 model year, MC only made about 5100. Trucks like these are usuallybeaten on and pretty rusted up if you find one and/or they've been restorednicely as I've seen a few on Ebay over the years, ery cool.
A 4x4 stock Jeep truck that is almost27 years oldlike this one and in its good condition is not so easy to find. It's a great candidate to restore and/or as a daily driver or 2nd vehicle. Itisn't being used since June, hen I bought a new truck as my daily driver and so I've just decided it's best tosell this truck even so I do hate to part with. That being said, would like it sold to a good home, n that a person whowants one and who knows and appreciates cool Jeep trucks. It's also beingadvertised locally, oauction may end in advance. Email me with any questions, 'll be glad to answer them.
Thanks!
