1979 Lancia Beta Zagato.
Here is a very handsome Italian sports car. This Lancia has survived where others have been neglected, r been at the mercy of the elements. The car starts up easily, nd idles smooth and sounds quiet. The car shifts through the gears, teers and brakes as it should. The dash gauges all work, s does the original digital clock. The horn, ipers and exterior lights all work. The in dash blower motor works, he car is equipped with a/c but will need service/attention. The Alpine am/fm radio with cassette player also works.
The body and undercarriage is excellent as you can see in the pictures. The body is straight and the paint looks to be original on the car (see picture of the original red trunk sticker with NERO 601F paint code), ther than around the gas filler lid. The only minor visible rust can bee seen in the last picture, ot bad for an original 37 year old Italian car. The interior is original, nd also is in very good survivor condition. The original rims are in very good condition and have a very nice set of Yokahama 195/60-14 on them. The rubber weather striping and moldings are also in very good condition. The car come with its boot cover for the rear drop down targa section. The trunk and trunk wheel well are dry and look like new, his car must have been garaged most of its life.
The soft half top window is cloudy, he parking brake is not working (will need new cable/s). The drivers door opens from inside and out, ut the inner plastic handle is half broken. We noticed that a least one rubber motor mount will need to be replaced. These are minor tlc issued that don't take away from the look and fun factor of the car.
NOTE*****: the previous owner has removed the smog equipment that came on this car, t was previously registered in Arizona. California DMV requires smog for vehicles 1976 and newer. Therefore, his car is being made available and sold to buyers outside of California only. Please check with your state for what they require, f anything.
