​Here is an opportunity to have a Defender that was completely overhauled by Land Rover for the MOD!! Only 80k original miles total!! Rust free example that runs great, eturning 25 mpg from a fully mechanical diesel engine - zero electronics. So, e took this amazing platform, nd modified it to be more civilian friendly, nd ready for any adventure. ARB front winch bumper with a Warn 9500HSi winch was fitted, s well a set of Hella 4000's and a LED light bar in front, nd a set of LED rears too. Then we added a set of Land Rover sliding side windows to improve visibility and airflow, rear lift gate/tail gate combo, nd even the rear fixed windows as found on civilian Defenders, nd a flip up sunroof to allow light and added cooling! Conversely, e retained the original gun mounts (easily removable) yet added a center tray from the Puma style Defenders and waterproof seat covers. In the end, his is a fantastic way to get into a Land Rover Defender designed to be abused, et refurbished by Land Rover and equipped with many modern amenities! Oh, orgot to mention the obvious Baja roof rack which is tied to the military cage and tires have been upgraded to ultra rare 8.25 Michelin XZLs.... I also will include an additional original unmodified top and full rear door at no extra cost should the winning buyer prefer. Please note the Defender is a 1986- the VIN is not accepted by Ebay to self populate, s these are imported under the 25 year rule. This truck has been legally imported and titled in both Texas and North Carolina!NOTE: The winch and ARB bumper, ella 4000's and front LED light bar are not included in this sale/auction, ut can be included for an additional $2k. The reason for this approach is that some folks have no need for these extras, nd I am trying to make a level playing field so to speak. The above items can and will remain if wanted by the winning bidder for the sum delineated. Also, ersonal items shown but not delineated are not included- I drive the vehicle regularly, o miles will vary also.
After much consideration, he time has come for me to throttle back a bit. As many of you know, have had numerous joint replacements and spine work done, ue to an over zealous life of extremes - much like the Land Rovers I have restored and built. It is now time to liquidate my vehicles and parts down to amanageable level, nd enjoy some lower key adventures with my family.
