Description

1986 ROW 3 door LHD 110 - if you have questions I can be reached at 801..815..9959
The time has come to part with my 110. I imported it from France a few years ago taking care to find as rust free an example as possible. I had a LR guy in France do a pre purchase inspection to help ensure this. The French owner had used it to travel extensively in Europe and Africa, it hasthe cool stickers to prove it. I have not removed any, as I feel that is part of itshistory and identity. I myself have travelled to Mendocino CA, Yosemite CA, Ouray CO, and Crested Butte CO, along withdifferent areas here in Utah. Always garaged in my ownership. I have taken my stewardship of this vehicle seriously and have enjoyed owning it, however the timehas come for someone else to add to its history and its identity. Since my ownership I have taken good care of it sparing no expense. I built it for travel to remote areas, not the grocery. As such it is very presentable, but no show piece. At one time it appears to have been repainted and not particularly well. But there again it is very presentable and it gets a lot of attention when I am out andabout in it.
The odometer shows 195,XXX KM's which is approximately 118,000 miles on the chassis and body. As stated below, the drivetrain has been rebuilt and typically has about 5K miles on it.

Originally a 2.5NAD truck when I brought it in, but is now a 200TDI as found in slightly later Land Rovers in the early 1990’s. Where I live emissions are required on only 1998 and later diesel equipped vehicles as such it has not been through emissions testing. This might matter or it might not, please do your research for your state to be sure. The engine has started easily, even on the coldest days.
Since getting it I have done the following.
The good:
Installed rebuilt 200TDi from TNTLR now has approx. 5k miles on it. Little puff of black smoke at start up thats it. Returning about 25-27mpg at stock tune.
Rebuilt late suffix LT77 from SWR has approx. 5k miles on it.
Rebuilt GBR 1.4 T-Case has about 3k miles on it.
Rebuilt GBR front and Salisbury rear ends have about 5k miles on them.
Rebuilt Injection Pump.
Allisport aluminium radiator, intercooler, tornado filter, installed (aluminum expansion tank sitting on shelf for it and included in sale).
ARB front bumper
WARN 9.5ti winch
Mantec rear swing away tire carrier.
BFG 235/85/16 KO2 with about 5k miles
Defender front seats with Escape Gear covers.
NAS Snorkel (RN brand)
I have a sedimenter included for it (not installed).
Ex-Moor Trim moulded mat system PN EXT009-12BK
NAS center console in serviceable shape, not bolted in.Bilstein shocks.
GBR (Great Basin Rovers) did a full wax oil job. White in every crevice and black on the exposed bits. They are familiar with it so if you want you can ask them questions about it.Stereo wiring is intact, and radio can come with it. IIRC it worked when I removed it. Did not like the location.Rare-ish lift handle full doors.Newer battery

The bad:
Passenger door has a blemish and so does passenger front fender.
Leaks from Power steering and transfer case - nothing serious but mentionable.
Rust in lower portions of rear and passenger doors. Drivers is in good condition (Pictures).
Dash pad is torn.
The hood blackout is painted on and not sticking too well.
Front vents were sealed by the French owner. Not pretty, but effective.
What is on it in the pictures and is not included:
Rear bike rack attachment.
Heater intake cover
Rear recovery point Dixon bate
Right now the rear platform is something I made from scraps around the house, sort of a "proof of concept" and is not pretty. Also the mount for the snorkel to windscreen is just a chunk of aluminum and while functional, is not that pretty.
If you want morepictures just ask. I will send them to the email you provide. Thats what I can think of right now. I would drive this across the U.S. tomorrow. This thing is really good, but not without faults such as leaks. As such if you have ANY questions contact me. I can make the 110 available for an inspection if desired but the time for that is before you bid on it. I stronglyrecommend aninspection so you are fully satisfied that what you are bidding on, is as I have represented it. Inspections will of course be at your expense and you must make the arrangements. Shipping is the buyers expense and responsibility. I will assist in any way possible making it available for pickup. I will not release the 110 until I have been paid in full by bank wire and the funds have cleared. Please U.S. buyers only.
Again I can be reached at 801..815..9959, my name is Andrew.
