Description

Very Sound drives great and is a sweet runner. Great fun to drive and gets lots of looks. Starts easily even after storing for several monthsdoesn'tover heat etc.Hard to find this age without being modified in the running gear over the years. The seat in the back is held by two bolts (two small holes in rear deck) I haven't removed as it suits it and is handy for putting stuff on. This seat folds forward and also hinges forward. 3 min job to remove this seat if not wanted.Canvas in sound condition water proof but does have a rip or two on the back. I normally have the sides rolled up (I like the Safari look) except if I get caught in the rain and then I store it rolled down until dry. It has never been left outside since I've owned it and I've never done any serious off roading. The diffs had been rebuilt when I purchased it plus I had 7 series ones so it allowed me to keep this one out of mud and water. I have been slowly selling them off over the years this is my last one and was always myfavoritenot to be sold however I bought a model T in Feb and I love with it that much I want another.Door tops are good as in picsStandard tail lights (hard to find) and all the running gear is all standard. Gearbox is very sound with no extra whines and motor ticks over like a sewing machine.4 wheels have 11 51 stamped I guess Nov 51? The spare has 231601 stamped on it which is also on some of the ground wheels so I presume its original also.Wheels had been painted with new tyres when I first got it and tires show little wear.Chassis is good and the often rusty rear cross member is very good I suspect it has been rebuilt by previous owner as it looks very clean and has been painted. Has blinkers added and a trailer plug. I used to tow the Jet Ski to the lake over holidays sometimes.I've owned it about 15 yrs. There is a few patches in the firewall (see pics) they were like that when I bought it and Ihaven'ttried to paint over doesn't worry me plus you can see what your bidding on. There is a patch on each side edge of the foot well plus one above the feet on both sides don't know why they were done? doesn't look like a rust repair but needs addressing if you want to spruce it up.Right side has a few smaller dents front guard bottom corner has had a slight bend and touch up paint. drivers door bottom front edge & back right guard has a patch missing etc the pics show. left side looks good. overall a very presentable unrestored unmolested 63 yr old Rover. I think I might be only the 4th or 5th owner I will update exactly the listing when I dig out the ownership papers.Obviously for a car of this age there is no warranty and its being sold as is.I will deliver to any of the 3 South Island oversea Ports myself free of charge after that all shipping costs are at the buyers expense. I can store here until that is arranged but itdoesn'tleave here until all funds are cleared. PayPal is fine for the deposit and whatever transfer/payment method is fine as long as all fees/costs are covered by the buyer. The car wont be released until all funds are cleared.Viewingeither by yourself or an agent is welcome.Car is in New Zealand sold NZ new.Feel free to ask for any info.Start is the reserve price so if your the only bidder its yours!I've never had it for sale before today. There is no money owing on it and I have clear title. Thanks for your time
