The PERKINS diesel engine offers great economy (30 mpg!!!) while allowing easy highway cruising speeds (70 mph). The truck features a CUT DOWN REAR BULKHEAD allowing the use of fully adjustable DEFENDER 90 SEATS; this modification alone offers a huge improvement in comfort over the originals. Additionally the truck utilizes DEFENDER 90 doors and roll up windows. The coil spring suspension completely changes the driving experience of the truck. The car has a disc brake conversion and stops like a modern truck. She wears the famous Land Rover SAFARI top with an excellent headliner and working vents. No longer a farm implement this truck runs and drives like a much more modern truck vehicle and is way more civilized than a typical Series truck could ever hope to be. Either on road or off this truck combines the best of the old and the new. Feel free to call 203 256 9800 or email Steven@classiccargallery.com if we can answer any of your questions.
