Description

I purchased this vehicle from a private seller 2 years ago. It has been such a fun ride, ut with a child in college, need tuition money more than I need a spare vehicle. Within six months of purchase, replaced the fuel pump, sing a mechanic that specializes in British vehicles. He stated that the vehicle was in excellent shape, ith minimal rust for a vehicle of this type, lthough there is rust on the hood and on the exterior accessories. The vehicle needs a new steering box---it loses power steering fluid, nd new tie rods were also recommended by the mechanic. The interior roof liner is falling, nd there is rust on the squeegie that connects the rear window with the tailgate. Although the vehicle has power seats, he drivers side seat will not recline and can only be moved back and forth. The heat in the seats has not worked since I have owned it. The sunroof was powered at one point, ut was sealed closed by someone before we bought it. The knob that puts the engine into 4L has lost its threading. We do not have an owner's manual for the vehicle. We have replaced the battery. This vehicle still runs great, nd has saved us through two really rough winters on the East Coast. It goes everywhere without a problem, nd has never gotten stuck. We can ride it through the fields with a foot of snow in them and it rides like it's on the road. My husband and son have taken it on countless camping trips. Oddly enough, iven its reputation, t has never left me sitting on the side of the road. It made it the 56 miles to the mechanic with only 16 lbs of pressure in the engine, hen it is supposed to be somewhere in the 30s. He's a workhorse!
Again, AM NOT A MECHANIC AND CANNOT MAKE ANY GUARANTEES ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE. Look at the pictures carefully. Please ask any questions before buying, nd I will answer to the best of my ability. The low price with low reserve is a reflection of my lack of mechanical knowledge in regards to this and any other vehicle, nd you can expect to find additional things wrong with the vehicle upon closer inspection.
