1987 LANDROVER DEFENDER D90
VIN# SALLDVAC8AA269292
This vehicle was freshly imported by me into the United States and restored.
Unlike most Defenders that come with "customs paperwork" this Defender comes with a clean NJ Title.
It has undergone a full customs examination and is fully cleared.
The European VIN is SALLDVAC8AA269292 - eBay doesn't recognize VINs from Europe of older cars.
It's a Gray D90 with a black top.
Complete frame up restoration! It was driven for about 75 miles after restoration to ensure all works great with no hiccups.
Filters replaced, low plugs replaced, ll maintanence work done. Engine & Fuel lines replaced. Exhaust recently replaced, o rust on it.
All trim was removed for this restoration, ou can tell by the black contrasting trim, osing in the engine bay, ct. This is not a quick and easy paint job.
Brand new Optima Red Top to make sure this cranks in the deep winter!
The drive feels great and as it should - tight with no vibrations. Transmission, ifferential lock, linkers, eadlamps, rakes, verything works just as it should.
Once again, VERYTHING works on this car - Air, eat, and Throttle, urn blinkers, eadlamps, ighbeams... ect.
There is no rust in the undercarriage. Nothing needs to be replaced. This is not a UK Defender, his is a Defender originating from Central Italy. You don't have the harsh salty conditions that make the UK Defenders a rust fest.
The Defenders are incredible vehicles. They are fun Sunday driver and are great everyday highway drivers. Reliability and serviceability. No extra foo foos that break down.
