I say driver quality because there are so many subjective descriptions you see on on the Internet. It has 69,000 miles. The paint on the car is good, but by no means perfect, as it does have some cosmetic blemishes in it. But it has a nice shine as it wears a respray which was done some years ago, circa 1989, but still a respectable and shiny paint job, nonetheless. The car is originally a Chicago and North Carolina car. Because the car has been garage kept most of it's life...the frame is solid, and the carriage top is soft and supple, with no cracks, rips or tears. The dashboard top has no cracks in it either. The seat upholstery is bright and vibrant, and so is the rug. Headliner is good too. Almost all Mark V's trap moisture...around the vinyl roof, moon roof, etc....not on this one. Interior and trunk is dry with no condensation after a washing. No rust bubbles that I can find. Chrome is in decent shape, some of the side trim has some scratches on it, but it's all there and intact. If you have a Mark V with no rust you have a true treasure. Car gets looks wherever it goes. It has a beautiful elegant color combination with factory moonroof. Definitely a sharp car. The motor runs strong and quiet. Exhaust is new from the catalytic converter back (including resonator) tires are approximately 2 years old and good (with no dry rot) and are all matching Firestone FR21 with period correct 1 and 3/4 " wide white walls. Recently replaced radiator, antifreeze, upper and lower radiator hoses, battery, high pressure power steering line, alternator and coil. Car has cruise control, air conditioning, factory moonroof, power trunk, delay wipers, dual note horn, power seats, reclining seats, RARE OPTION FACTORY REAR DISC BRAKES, AND FULL ASTROROOF, full size spare tire appears to have never been used...still has some original crayon marks on it. Trunk is clean. Door panels in good shape. This is not by any means a perfect car, but a good weekend cruiser, or excellent candidate to turn it into a trailer queen. Just a decent, well preserved 38 year old Lincoln. Price is somewhat slightly negotiable. Cash only. Non refundable deposit of $25.00 due immediately via PayPal, balance due IN CASH, upon pickup. Hagerty values this car in good condition at $11,200 and in fair condition at $7,300. My reserve is substantially lower than that. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a classic Lincoln at a fraction of the cost.
On Jul-08-16 at 20:52:10 PDT, seller added the following information:Vehicle has additional-cost factory optioned carriage top, as well as the full moonroof, and interior lighting package upgrade (lighted vanity mirror, dome overhead map lights.
Pictures of the interior make the seats look dirty, (they are not) but in reality it is the reflection from the sun shining thru the moonroof.
