Thank youRARE FACTORY Cranberry Red/ Red Leather COLOR COMBO CONVERTIBLE 1966 LINCOLN.I have sold quite a few of these convertibles ranging from $30k to 50k and this is one of the better ones!Car is locally advertised so in the event an offer is accepted I reserve right to end auction early so do not wait to bidor emailme today on this one.Car is equipped with power everything including windows locks seats top trunk lid etc.I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. This car is in Fantastic Condition for its age. Just removed from a 40 year collection. Car was owned by previous owner since 1972. Has always been stored indoors.Car is showing ONLY 25222 miles. Although we have No Documentation to prove the accuracy the Original Interior sure looks like Low miles(SEE PHOTOS) SEATS are as near New as you can get and still be FACTORY ORIGINALS. Not even a crack or blemish. 40+ years NEW NEW.DASH is PERFECT. NO CRACKS. Steering Wheel Has NO CRACKS. (SEE PHOTOS)Drives like you are on a cloud! Plenty of POWER in the 462 inch original motor.BACK STORY on the CARPrevious Owner purchased the car in the Early 70's for his wife. Car was driven only a few hunderd miles before owners job sent him out west. The car remained in his possesion in NY while he was out west for years working. During the 40 years of ownership the car only traveled roughly 400 miles total. Mostly it remained in storage with some other classics. Now For the first time it is offered for sale to someone who will hopefully cruise in it more than 400 miles over the next 40 year period.Interior:We just had ALL windows on the car completely professionally serviced by a LINCOLN SPECIALIST and they work great from ALL switches. (SEE YOUTUBE VIDEO link below)1. All window regulators were cleaned/ lubricated.2. Windows were All adjusted.3. Switches were ALL cleaned/rebuilt and or replaced.Factory Color CODE 85 Candy Red ORIGINAL Seats... As Stated above and as photos will show these seats are in amazing condition. They really look brand new. Leather is soft and has no cracks etc. Awesome Color. In the Sun the color almost glows with brilliance.-Door panels are in great shape-Dashboard is in PERFECT SHAPE (see Photo) NO CRACKS like MOST.-Steering Wheel is Perfect. NO CRACKS or SEPARATION like most. Look closely at other 66/67 Lincolns for sale. Most Every steering wheel has separated spots and Dash boards are usually cracked by speaker grill. This Garage Kept Car was not out baking in sun its whole life.Carpet isOriginal& still very Plush. Looks great !Trunk LOOKS Great inside.Basically interior on car is very near to factory new condition and needs nothing. Very well preserved. I only say “near” because it is a 40+ year old car.Exterior:-The paint on the car is in good shape. The car was re-painted in its original RARE (Cranberry Red)T Code many years ago but has remained in storage since. Buyer should expect a minor flaw or small ding in the paint here or there but nothing to be concerned about. A light wet sand and polish would make the car shine even more than it does now. Currently it has not been wet sanded so it has a slight orange peal type finish like you see on many new cars today. A Rare color combo for this convertible. Car looks good underneath. (See Photos)Chrome on Front and Rear Bumpers is in good shape. Rated at driver+ quality. Nice shine.Rear bumper does have some chrome peal on very bottom of center section on either side of the lic. plate. Not very noticeable since it it on lower bottom curve but needs to be noted. All Stainless trim on car is in very nice shape Engine: Original V8 462 CUThis car starts up easily and runs very strong. Motor sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly into all gears and floats down the road. Power steering works great. Can steer car with one finger. A pleasure to drive!RecentMaintenanceCompleted...Fresh Oil change yesterdayNew Mufflers installed (Still has minor manifold gasket leak by engine) Common for the Ford engine. I might have this handled before auction end if I have time to get it in shop??Rear Brakes ServicedFront end GreasedNew Fuel PumpNew Fuel FilterNew wires cap rotor plugs etc.Full top and window servicingEngine bay is VERY clean and well kept/ detailed. (see photos)Note: This car has been driven ONLY about 50 miles since we removed it from private collection. Drives like a dream with no known issues other than what was listed. You will get Constant THUMBS up from on lookers. And although we serviced many items on the car it should REALLY be looked at by your local mechanic before taking on any real long trips. Check belts hoses etc just to be safe.Tires are Brand New bias ply original style tires.NOTE: BUYERS CHOICE... CURRENT TIRES ARE BRAND NEW BIAS PLY WHITES PERIOD ORIGINAL TIRES. IF BUYER WISHES TO HAVE STANDARD THIN RADIAL WHITE WALL TIRE WE WILL INSTALL A BRAND NEW SET INSTEAD OF THE CURRENT BIAS WHITES BEFORE PICKUP. ITS UP TO BUYER????CONVERTIBLE TOP: PERHAPS MOST IMPORTANT WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING ONE OF THESE LINCOLNS....THE TOP!!!! SEE TOP IN WORKING ACTION on my YOUTUBE link below.VERY VERY Important item on one of these cars is the hydraulic top functions. This car has just been fully serviced for its Top Functions. EVERYTHING was gone thru including EVERY Relay ALL pumps EVERY LIMIT SWITCH etc. at a cost of over $5000 which did include the power window servicing as well. Any one that knows these cars knows that it is VITAL to buy one already serviced for its top and windows!! They are not cheap to have fully serviced but once this is complete they will work and last for another 40 years. This service was just completed last week. Top Now WORKS GREAT from Both Switches. It is believed to be the ORIGINAL FACTORY Top Fabric still on the car and is in very good shape.Everything operates just as it did from the factory. Top can be raised and lowered with ease FROM INSIDE THE CAR OR OUTSIDE BY GAS TANK SWITCH and it is quite the site to see!!!see video at You TubeNOTE: IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE LINCOLNS OF THIS ERA THEY HAD A KEYED SWITCH BY GAS TANK TO OPEN TRUNK. This works too.SUMMARY…No disappointments here. A GREAT Driving Car that just needs minor items to be show quality. Email me today to get this one before its too late!!!Buy today and be cruising tomorrow!I have tried to be very detailed and describe all I know about car.PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS CAR IS OVER 40 YEARS OLD AND ALTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN RESTORED CARS OF THIS ERA WILL ALWAYS NEED SOMETHING FROM TIME TO TIME BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT NEW.Email questions. Thanks!BUY with CONFIDENCE!!!I do my best to accurately describe the car and assist buyers through every step of the purchase!
