Description

This car is absolutely stunning! It's a 1968 Lincoln Continental with only 48k original miles! The car was extremely well kept and always garaged. It's just simply beautiful! It has the suicide doors which are VERY COOL! It's all original with the exception of a recent VERY NICE repaint (this was done due to some fading on the hood and trunk). It's loaded with all the options from 1968. No rust. Rides like a dream, nd runs excellent! This is a great survivor car. The pictures don't even do it justice. Interior is super nice as well. The cars A/C works and has a New compressor. I don't think it's cooling as good as it could but nonetheless does work, Exterior is near flawless! All the chrome trim is shiny and looks extremely good for it's age. This car is very road worthy and I drive it often. I have the original title from 1968 when it was purchased new. I also have the owners manual, hop manual, riginal window sticker, uild sheet, nd a ton of other paperwork from over the years. I believe I am the 3rd owner. I can't begin to describe how nice this car is. I get compliments EVERY time I take her out. She's just simply an amazing piece of automotive history and would make a very nice addition to the collector's collection.
I wouldn't hesitate to think this car could easily meet Barrett-Jackson standards. Get in it, rive it and enjoy...or park it in a garage for preservation!
The only imperfections to speak of are:A/C works but doesn't blow as cold as it should. The vinyl top is original and in very good condition but is pulling away is a few places. Nothing too bad but I've included some pictures.
Interior is very nice. No tears in the leather. Carpet is great. Dash is in very nice condition (2 very small cracks in the speaker area. very minor)Interior is a 9 out of 10
Exterior is a 9.9 out of 10 Paint and body is perfect. Trim and bumpers are in amazing condition.
Tires have good tread. Wheel covers are in GREAT condition!
Just look at the pictures and they will tell you most anything. It looks even better in person!
The body is solid with no rust. Floor pans are solid. Always a Georgia car.
If you have questions or would like me to send a picture of anything in particular feel free to call me at 706-325-4360
I reserve the right to end the auction as I do have it for sale locally as well. If the reserve is met, will of course do the right thing and finish the auction.
Although I do have the original Title and it will be given to the new owner, t will be sold with a Bill of Sale as the official means of transfer. GA does not issue a title for a vehicle of this age so the original Title was never transferred to the 2nd owner. It only sold with a Bill of Sale. The original Title is left blank where the seller and buyer signatures go.
