1964 Lincoln Continental Sedan. I purchased this car several months ago from a guy and then ended up finding a convertible so my attention is now on the convertible and I'm selling this one. Previous owner has spent over $10,000 (documented) on various items such as rebuilding motor, ransmission, ear end, ew seats and carpet, nd misc items. Car is ready for someone to finalize some small items and tweaks, nd then re-paint it. I dont know alot about this car as I have only had it for a couple months and have not done any work to it other than just getting a repair shop to check it out, o compression check on the motor, nd get a texas title and registration.
What I know it needs:
- AC system has been checked and its holding compression and was told by repair shop that it needs the following: AC Compressor, C Drier, echarge system (about $500 in parts)
- New Decklid. Current one was repaired but not very well so I would just find a new one before you paint it. (approx. $250-$500)
- New Windshield (has crack) - (approx. $500)
- Window Switches need refurbishing. Most of them work but a couple have broken latches and/or dont work ($35/switch to repair. There is a guy on ebay that does this)
You can drive this car no problem while you are fixing all these items so you can enjoy it while doing these repairs. I live in Texas and drive it off and on when its not 100 degrees since the AC is currently not working.
Please check out my feedback and feel free to send any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them. Also, eel free to contact me and come check out the car so you will comfortable about your bid.
