Description

Built on used Arch Motors chassis and titled and registered in Idaho since 2004 as a Replica/Reconstruct Vehicle, 1962 Lotus Super Seven.

Ford Pre-crossflow head on 1600 block, Early Ford gearbox (Pinto), 4 speed Quaife shifter, Marinarear axle. Speedometer not hooked-up so mileage on all is unknown.

Caterham alloy radiator, cooling fans, quick rack, steering column, etc. Alloy fuel tank, no sender.

Elan wheels (spare balanced poorly, others fine), adjustable front shocks. Heated windscreen not hooked up.

Engine runs fine, new cam Cosworth A3 grind, new cam followers, valve train geometry properly raised, head studs, rocker arm studs, rod bolts all ARP. JE pistons. Brad Penn zinc oil used, seems clean. New Pertronix ignition and matching coil.Gearbox leaks some oil as does rear end a bit, engine doesn't seem to be leaking any oil, or coolant. Doesn't run hot. Driveshaft built and balanced by professional shop, dual master cylinder for brakes, ATE fluid used.

Comes with hood (convertible top) and hood sticks, doors, and new wiper motor and linkage/arms for RHD car from Caterham, never installed. Handbrake hooked-up to one rear wheel only and is from a Porsche 912. Photos show oil pressure at idle both cold and hot. Compression or leakdown unknown.

Photos show dent in hood (pretty small), chip in steering mount near bolt, and where body was welded in lower front (alloy skin).

Selling as I just don't drive it enough. With a little more sorting out it should be a good car, I would not attempt to drive it home. Priced so you could replace the entire drivetrain if you wish and not have invested too much.

Any questions please send through eBay, so I can post the answers for others. Sorry, no trades. Thank you.
