This is an original window sticker car, wo owners before I adopted it. A lot of documentation and history comes with this car plus owner'smanual and shop manual. You most likely will not find one with this much documentation.

"This car was not offered with air conditioning."

Does the car have a heater?

"Yes, he heater works very well."

How long have I owned the car and why are you selling it?

"I have owned the car for nearly one year. I am selling the car to move the money into the next project. This is not a desperation sale. I am offering this car as more of an adoptionfor someone elseto enjoy. This is not abusiness for me. It is my hobby, n addiction, n obsession, love affair I have with cars. I don't like the normal stuff."

Is the mileage correct?

"I had to call the son in-law of the previous owner (second owner is deceased). According to him the mileage is correct at 99865. He told me that years ago a member of the Lotus club in Denver did remove the head and rebuilt it. The fellowwas a well known Lotus engine builder and said the bottom end of the car was very good condition."

Is there smoke when starting the engine cold?

"No smoke on cold starts. Like all British cars they are a bit cold blooded in colder weather but starts just fine in the summer."

Does it leak oil?

"This is an old British sports car and they characteristically leak a few drops after being driven. I had a 1972 Triumph TR6 with a new motor and after a few month it too leaked a couple of drops. Just the nature of these cars." and "Over the past 30 years of owning collectable cars I have learned no matter how much time and money I spend repairing leaks and having motors rebuilt the darn things still leak a couple of drops. Maddening! Maybe it is my own personal luck."

This 1973 Jensen Healey roadster is powered by the 145-hp, 6-valve, -liter Lotus 907 twin-cam engine coupled to a four-speed manual transmission and is a verypowerful sports car. By way of comparison a TR6 of the same period offered only 105 hp and the MGB barely 80. Top speed of the Jensen Healey was approximately 125 mph.
