We found this Ultra RareMaserationly 221 cars producedstored in backyard of the house in remote Town of Toyama in Japan and could not pass it. We cleaned the gas tan, uel lines radiatorand started it. It runs goo, rakes and steers. There is no undercarriage rust. Great project car.

Very different from the other Bi Turbos, Q-car specially commissioned by Alessandro De Tomaso, imited to 221 examples World wide, his is as new, nd will increase substantially in value, n extremely rare opportunity for a Maserati collector. You will not see another, ot at all common like a Ferrari or Porsche ‘

The Maserati Karif was introduced to take the Biturbo further upmarket, ffering higher performance and excellent handling from what was essentially a theme based on the Biturbo. The Karif used the Spyder’s shortened platform, hich did the styling no favours whatsoever.

But it was fast – and for Maserati, hat was all that mattered. I was powered by a 2.8-litre quad-cam V6 with three-valves per cylinder and a maximum power output of 285bhp. 0-60mph time was 4.8 seconds and the maximum speed was a distinnctly un-Biturbo-like 158mph.
