Description

Up for sale here is my very well taken care of RX-7. I have not been driving it much and my current situation forces sale. I bought this car several years ago after an extensive search for an original. unmolested example. When I found this one. it was obvious the the previous owner had pampered and spent quite a bit on her in upgrades and routine maintenance. Seems to have been a garage queen. there are no dash cracking or fading. I have most receipts back to and including the original window sticker. this was a $28. 00 car in 1991! The engine has approx 12. 00 miles since being rebuilt at Jim's Rotary Shop in 2009. Tokico 5-way adjustable shocks. The seats. console armrest. and shift boot were reupholstered in a high grade of leather w/ rotor logos embroidered on seatbacks for $670. 00. Custom made parade cover. Over a grand for Kenwood stereo w/ amp and bass speaker in trunk. Headrest speakers are functional. Upgraded Viper alarm with remotes. Horn changed to an air horn setup that always reminds me of a Fiat spider. You get the idea. About the only thing I needed to do was fit a new(not rebuilt) AC compressor and had it charged with original R12. It works very well even here in Texas. I didn't care for the airbag steering wheel so I replaced it with a Momo Prototipo. It can be changed back if desired. The car came fitted with a front air dam that looks great on the car but it touched down a little too easily for me. The bottom edge is scuffed but no cracks. The only things I would address if I kept the car would be to remove the non original deck lid spoiler and have the paint buffed out. The spoiler has a crack in the center front and to me just doesn't look right on this car. It's hard to see in the pics but there are light swirl marks in a few areas. All in all a very nice driver. I'm probably forgetting things but want to get this up asap. Any questions. I can be reached at 817 896-4645. Thanks for looking!
