5 years of planning and constructions brings this truly one of a kind 3.8L Supercharged, ethanol injected, tream liner to life!

Custom front and rear camber inserts to achieve a 9” overall drop. H & R racing springs were cut one coil all around. Hand-made front and rear sway bars with Hime joints, ar in bar construction. Complete brake rebuilt on all corners. Custom steely wheels with chrome beauty rings and early Mercedes center caps riding on vogue radial tires, 05/55 – 16, ll new wheel bearings with races/seals. New Bosch fuel filter, uel pump and fuel accumulator. All fuel lines internally cleaned. All engine management fuel lines polished. Complete re-build of entire fuel system - all polished. Brand new idle control ECU perfectly set by Frank’s European in Las Vegas. Complete dual chain timing upgrade to include new oil pump, hain adjusters, am sprockets, alve job, alve guides, alve seals, iston rings/re-hone, ll-new engine seals. Custom hand fabricated intake bonnet, upercharger brackets. Supercharger is a professionally built PRO-Charger with upgraded bearings, elt and impeller. Completely hand fabricated fresh air intake and pressure air induction system. Mercedes 420 belt tensioner. New radiator/thermostat/fan shroud/all rubber hoses on entire car including vacuum hoses replaced with new. All sensors on engine are new. Completely polished intake manifold along with all brackets and ancillary items. Fully serviced transmission with new seals and gaskets where needed. Drive shaft re-balanced along with new flex joints – front and rear. Complete custom hand-made sub-frame to tie front and rear suspensions together. Hand fabricated oil pan with 10 quart capacity protected by a one-off skid plate protecting entire front engine cradle. External high volume/high lift oil pump to move an additional 2 quarts out of oil pan to a front mounted oil cooler with electric cooling fan. Complete heat matt under hood. Car runs ice cold in Las Vegas heat!

Complete hand fabricated exhaust system with Magnaflow components. All new hangers and rubbers. Air conditioning and cooling system have had vacuum pots replaced and all vacuum lines replaced. A/C is ice cold.

Complete removal of entire interior down to shell. All new window wiper rubbers, oor molding (which were originally anodized aluminum) were stripped and triple chrome plated with all new clips. Complete dash, ront and rear center console along with all door panels and rear package tray lids were stripped, poxy primer sealed, lock sanded, e-epoxied, e-block sanded until perfectly smooth. Hydrographic dipped with 7 coats of clear. Each piece was color, anded and buffed. Brand new custom diamond door/center console/under-dash upholstery was hand made to improve upon the factories short comings. All new correct clips and screws were used in the installation.

Actual mileage at time of build was just at 100K miles. Since a complete re-build, bout 15K miles of break-in time/test and tune. While interior was out of car, ll factory leather was stripped down to its bear essence – pristine cleaned, nd lanolin fed. Each seat spent 2 weeks bagged to create the supplest leather possible. Re-cleaned, e-fitted and hand dyed I a beautiful palomino to match interior by world class leather craftsman. All leather was sealed in Carnauba to give many years of service.

Factory steering wheel was removed, enter spline machined away from wheel and put to side. A 1958 Mercedes-Benz factory original steering wheel was purchased and its center spline removed. The modern spline from the donor steering wheel was press fitted and then TIG welded into place as a permanent part. All original 1958 internal horn mechanisms were re-built/restored along with a new old stock center pad and a factory center emblem for pad was installed. A new old stock horn ring was found to match installation. Steering wheel itself was restored and covered in ivory epoxy. A custom steering column cover was hand fabricated to make installation look factory. Mercedes-Benz engineers would be proud. While there, new old stock turn signal mechanism was installed and all bearings lubricated. A new old stock factory Beck stereo system was found and installed.

You will notice the beautiful, ewel like, nterior mirror. This was achieved by taking the original mirror stalk and removing the rubber coating that came standard. It was then hand filed, e-shaped and brilliantly polished. The mirror itself came from a 1966 Lincoln Continental Day/Night NOS attached by a hand-made center clamp. The mirror was reinstalled into the new re-covered fascia along with all new headliner and re-build electronic sunroof sliders. The exterior mirrors are GT style 1950’s era race car bullets attached to fabricated exterior cover plates to give a vintage race look.

You will notice, n the center console, VDO Boost gauge nestled in a VDO accessory steel cup and a methanol boost control gauge to its left. This allows the driver, nder sustained high speed operation, o internally cool the engine with the most sophisticated electronic methanol injection system on the market. As you know, EM is a leader in this technology. One of the nice features of this unit is the oversized methanol storage tank that is mounted in the trunk. This eliminates the need for frequent refills.

On the back of the car, ou will notice a new trailer hitch which was designed by Kurt for this application. It can be used to tow small trailers or as a pull or push point for the car.

This car operates perfectly as every component functions as new. I have driven the car at sustained high speeds and have never owned a Mercedes of this vintage that handles as well. The car was built without budget in mind and at a cost, ith time an materials, f over $100K and 5 years.

Just like many of you, have owned and built many 500/560 SEC’s. The limitations and fuel consumption/cost to maintain these made me think outside the box and build a 3.8L engine that would be dependable, ore powerful, etter fuel economy, un cooler, roviding a no headache experience of ownership (remember, McLaren utilizes a 3.8L engine). If you own a 500 or 560 SEC you will understand if you have ever tried to modify one and make it dependable.

I call this car THE 600 SUPERLAGGERA – why? Because no one has ever built one and this particular car has the aluminum hood and trunk (super light). If you have a project you want built, lease feel free to call me.
